-our room was fantastic (big, well laid out, good amenities)
-the view was stunning (forest, mountains and ocean)
-the onsen was fantastic
-the location was a very short drive into town
-the beds were very comfortable
-the room was well cleaned
-in 4 days our room was never serviced. Fresh towels were dropped off every day but we had the same dirty glasses and mugs, and one roll of toilet paper for 4 days
-the cold water in the shower drops out roughly every minute so you get scalded by hot water
-the lobby staff weren’t friendly and often not there throughout the day
-all of the facilities are unavailable until 3pm every day
-the male sauna had been out of order for months
-there isn’t any option for food inside the hotel except the expensive buffet and an onigiri vending machine that broke
-sound proofing isn’t very good so it sounded like the people next door were in the room talking
-there was often a bad smell in the hallways, like trash, but thankfully it didn’t make it into the room
