Pieve di Caminino Historic Farm

Best host ever, everything here is a piece of history and art. It’s our pleasure to have chance stay here for couple days.

Emy met us like an old friend with stories from a fascinating journey through time, wine and art and a friendly wolf hound. Within moments of stepping into his home we never wanted to leave. The rooms and buildings were profound, and cozy, Roman foundations, medieval walls, 18th C family gossip, a museum and a family home. We ate out and cooked at home, the flavour of the land in meat, bread, cheese, torte and wine, wine, wine. And when we were hot we fell into the pool dappled in the shadows the family's olive orchards. We did not want to leave. Thanks Emy. Alibenwolf xx

we could have booked more nights, and walked along the roman road, and explored the forest, and visited more wineries, and bought more prosciutto, learnt more about Emy's artist lineage, and helped to pick the olives in October, and seen the wild wolves that visit the pool at night, and worked out where to eat some wild food, and done a painting retreat... in general had more time!

Such a beautiful location and rooms! Very special place.
