It’s such a welcoming, comfortable and warm place to stay; the owners are the loveliest people! It’s a short walk to key sites and even shorter walk to the tram stop. Perfect for exploring Hakodate.
Wish we had stayed another night!

This is a lovely old home right in the heart of Hakodate's old town. The owners were lovely people and even drove me to the station the day i left. The whole area is beautiful and tons of things to do within walking distance. There was also a city tram a couple minutes walk to head to the other parts of the city.
The bathroom and showers are shared. It is very minor, but some people are not comfortable with that. Otherwise I do not have anything negative to say about it.

This guesthouse exceeded ALL of my expectations. It was like staying with two lovely Japanese grandparents.
