Odyssia near the Seaside

Η τοποθεσία και η ηρεμία είναι μοναδικές! Ο ιδιωτικός χώρος στάθμευσης είναι άνετος αλλά και απαραίτητος. Το γύρω πράσινο (λόφος, κολπίσκοι, επίσημο μονοπάτι περιπάτου) και ο προσεγμένος κήπος είναι πολύ χαλαρωτικά. Η μερική ανακαίνιση του λουτρού είναι πολύ ωραία (πάγκος, νιπτήρας, καθρέφτης, πρίζα).

Το κατάλυμα χρειάζεται σε ορισμένα πράγματα ανακαίνιση/αναβάθμιση: * προσοχή στην οδήγηση όταν αφήνουμε τον κύριο δρόμο!! * ο εξωτερικός φωτισμός του μονοπατιού μεταξύ πάρκινγκ και κτιρίου είναι ελλειπής (επικίνδυνο την νύχτα)! * ορισμένα παράθυρα είναι πλέον αρκετά παλιά (μπάνιο) - τα πορτοπαράθυρα και παράθυρα δεν είναι αεροστεγή/ενεργειακά και χάνεται γρήγορα ο κρύος/ζεστός αέρας του κλιματιστικού. * το ζεστό νερό παράγεται αποκλειστικά από τον ηλιακό θερμοσίφωνα ΚΑΙ ΔΕΝ ΥΠΑΡΧΕΙ ΕΝΑΛΛΑΚΤΙΚΉ ΠΡΟΤΑΣΗ όταν ο καιρός είναι ΣΥΝΝΕΦΙΑΣΜΈΝΟΣ - μείναμε 3 μέρες χωρίς ζεστό νερό και χωρίς ντους.😠😰 * η βρύση (μπαταρία) του ντους είναι παλιά, δεν λειτουργεί καλά και χάνει νερό! * τα σκαλοπάτια προς τον 1ο όροφο γλυστράνε όταν βρέχει - πρέπει να γίνουν αντι-ολισθητικά.

Amazing view, loved the full glass doors to enjoy the view. Loved the hammock. Loved the morning swims in the bay. Loved the amazingly comfy bed. Loved the location. Beautifully decorated.

It is a stunning location between the Agios Petros beach, on the photos, and Steni Vala harbour with a supermarket and five restaurants and a cafe / bar, both easily walkable within minutes. The two double bed apartment (one is in the spacious dining/kitchen area) is generally light and spacious, a reasonable kitchen (no oven but no problem), a lovely long veranda from where you can see the amazing sunrise and moonrise and everything on the water. A perfect view. There is a private sunbathing area on the side of the apartment. The beds are very comfortable. The toilet / shower is small but we did not think a problem as in some other reviews. Also there is a communal garden / seating and eating area below the apartment. The area is very quiet and chilled. Three buses to Patitiri and back per day. We coped fine without a car for the week, walking to local beaches. Wonderful.

The man who greeted us on arrival didn’t seem very pleased to welcome us. We don’t know if we woke him up but after over 12 hrs of travel it wasn’t a great introduction. We had let them know in advance the time of our arrival. The inside of the apartment is a little tired and functional - could do with brightening up a little. But was not really a problem for us to be honest. After two days we met the lovely Katarina and Christos who cleaned the apartment and changed the sheets every three days. Rubbish was emptied for us every day.

The view was amazing !!
