The breakfasts were amazing. And the receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room was spacious. Basic but everything you need (except shampoo/shower gel/ toothpaste- you need to take everything with you, which wasn’t very comfortable).
My room wasn’t very clean. It was dusty with web and somebody’s hair everywhere 😖. (the bedclothes were fine though).

Too much Przymorze (business), and not enough Oliwa! (residential)
This place was good, but not great. I did enjoy the breakfast every morning, but the choice was a little limited compared to breakfasts I've had in the past from other places. But it was good to start the day with a good breakfast.
The room was certainly big enough, but room size is not so important for me.
It was certainly VERY easy to get to and from the Gdansk Oliwa and Gdansk Przymorze train station for mainline and SKM travel purposes. A short walk to/from both of those, so THAT was a big plus.
The area where Villa Lena is was, mostly, very quiet and I really appreciated this.
And I love Gdansk and everything about it, so accommodation is not the most important thing.
When I got to Villa Lena for the first time and had breakfast on the first morning, the word that was in my mind was "disappointing". There are a few reasons for this.
Firstly, the location. I don't know how long Villa Lena has been there, and I don't know how long the "Arkonska Business Park" has been there, but these two just did NOT go together. Coming down the road towards Villa Lena for the first time, my heart sank when I saw that I was to be staying in an area of offices and business. OK, I realise those offices may be new and that Villa Lena has probably been there longer than those new office buildings, but if I had known they were there, then I would NOT have chosen Villa Lena for my accommodation. Simple as that! I, personally, do NOT want to go out every day to see office buildings of the type that I came to beautiful Gdansk to get away from! Ones I have to see almost every day back home. Maybe, for other people, this is not a big deal, but for me it did rather spoil things (but I guess I got used to it).
Secondly, one aspect of the room. Now, there WERE enough electrical sockets if you count them, but they were NOT in good locations. The most important one was RIGHT BEHIND my bed making it very inconvenient to access and, in fact, I had to pull the bed out a bit. As this is the one to plug in your phone in overnight, you want it to be in a good place. In the end, I got used to charging up my phone on the floor next to my bed, but this was not ideal!
Thirdly, and this may also be a small point for most people, but I did not like the television in the breakfast room. Sorry, but I just DO NOT want to start my day with TV, but instead to start the day in peace. When others were not in the room, I turned the TV off and the silence was much better. Sorry, but I don't understand why people, on holiday, want to start their day with noisy television!

Spacious room with a desk so I could work, lovely host, good parking space, comfortable bed. The room looks simple but its clean and the bed was soft and I slept like a baby.

Very nice lady at the reception also added free nice breakfast selection was a huge plus. Kettle in a room but no spoon:) I would come back for a location close to my office and decent price.
The room was huge but dated and tired bathroom was not very clean with black hair from previous guests all over the floor. The heating was on but it was cold at night. The light was awful. Fridge did not work so I left some snacks outside in the bag on the patio but was eaten by some animals... The room had access to patio wchich was nice but no proper curtain so had to put up the blanket not to be seen from a parking. Wi fi password Sent to me did not work.

Good location, helpful staff. We had some issues with the booking as by mistake I put 1 guest instead of 2 but staff member helped us to fix this issue.
Poor facilities, uncomfortable bed and very small room. Shampoo and body wash would be nice addition to the room. Buffet style breakfast would be much better option so guests could choose what they like.
