Villas de Jardin self-catering

Hospitality was excellent.

The number of water bottles provided were bare minimum. I wished if we were offered adequate water bottles.

Incredible views, comfy beds, very clean, good value for money, the manager Altezia was extremely friendly and helpful, always in touch.

The location is far from anything, except for one supermarket. You should have a car or take taxi every time you want to go somewhere (it’s normal for Mahe). Besides the way to each villa is steep with sharp turns, when it rains not all taxi agree to climb the hill. The nearest beach is not really nice, no infrastructure.

Spacious, clean apartment with great views and outdoor space. Del Place 5 mins drive away for evening food and drink.

Kitchen very poorly equipped. No tin opener, no iron or ironing board, only a two electrical cooking rings, equipped to absolute minimum. Frying pan provided was very cheap, light weight and only capable of frying one egg, we went out and bought our own. All sliding doors require roller lubrication, very stiff to operate. No washing machine but you can have washing done on site but very expensive. We were in villa 7 which is on the hillside and not accessible by car, to access the villa you have to climb over 60 steps with all you luggage. The local area does not have much to offer, only one place to eat out at night and a small shack in the village which is only open for lunch, we eat there the food was very poor.
