Lama Di Luna Biomasseria

We had a fantastic stay and can highly recommend this Masseria, especially if you’re exploring the northern part of Puglia. The property is located on a hill, which is quite unique in this otherwise rather flat region, offering breathtaking panoramic views across the countryside all the way to the sea. Sitting on the terrace with the refreshing summer breeze was one of our favorite moments. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the entire property is beautifully maintained. The pool is much larger than those at most other accommodations in Puglia and offers the same stunning views. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the air conditioning was impressively quiet—something that made a real difference during the warm summer nights. The Masseria is also very family-friendly and has so much character. The historic library and elegant lounge areas make it feel truly special—something we haven’t experienced anywhere else. It was without a doubt one of the highlights of our trip, and we would love to come back.

There was very little to complain about. If we had to mention one thing, it would be the breakfast. As other guests have already pointed out, a wider selection of bread and savory options would be appreciated. While we understand that sweet breakfasts are very common in Italy, adding a few more savory choices would make an already wonderful experience even better.

We left Vieste a day early as it was so touristy and booked this place at the last minute en route to our next stop in Matera. We are SO HAPPY that we did! It’s a real touch of class. All the guest rooms are in the masseria courtyard, and the beautiful pool and restaurant are close by. We enjoyed a gorgeous dinner in the evening while the sun set. This was one of our favourite evenings of our holiday.
