The hotel was very well run . The restruant food was very good . The male reception staff very helpful with tips for local restaurants and sightseeing . We had our own car but found getting around took much longer than anticipated . One trip into the town 4.5 kilometres took 45 mins Not the hotels fault . The restaurant was run very efficiently even on evenings when they had large groups
We arrived by ferry at 7 in the morning and had spent the day exploring but really wanted to rest ,we arrived at the hotel at 2.45 one hour before the room was advertised as being available a 4 the young female receptionist was off hand and said no the room was not ready .She made no effort to check and then told us we could put our luggage into the storage area. There wasn't any one else available. I am 71 and my husband 76 so I had to manage this up the steps . I put her attitude down to being young with little empathy and lack of customer training . However a very helpful young man came on duty 15 mins later and told us our room was ready. In fact we found all the male staff very helpful. Another problem was that whilst we had a terrace and a sea view we couldn't enjoy this as the view was over the dual carriage way constantly busy Monday to Friday a bit less over the weekend . Also we had smokers both sides of us , not the hotels fault but with the smoke and the traffic we couldn't use the terrace . Also the outside wooden table and chairs needed renewing they were well seasoned

Great hotel. Literally 4 minutes from the airport. Family room was very comfortable and came with access to a huge outdoor terrace. Dinner was brought to the room quickly as we arrived late and breakfast was delicious. Pool good fun.
