great place to stay

What a wonderful place to stay. We stayed just one night with two kids and a dog and it was a great place to stay. Very spacious and clean room, nice and hard matrasses, friendly staff and calm atmosphere. There is big restaurant with lake Como view. The breakfast was good, with eggs, croissants, cake, yougurt, cheese, meat, coffee etc... Highly recommend!

Beautiful view, lovely ambiance.

Just imagine waking up with the view of Lake Como beneath youre window. Everything was amazing, from the location to the cleanliness. The personnel was lovely (especially the boy at the reception!!, who took us and presented the hotel and our room) and the service absolutely immaculate. The room is simple, but at the same time has everything that you need for one night or two, including a TV with internet just perfect to put on some Lana del Rey songs in the morning while you're looking out the window as the sun is rising above the lake, behing the mountains. The same view that you're going to get from the breakfast area. And god, such an ambiance. The breakfast is plentiful and various as well, including Italian Cappuccino and a wide selection of sweet and salty things as well. In other words, it was a pleasure staying here and would definitely put it on the list of our favourite accommodations in Italy.

There's nothing to complain about. Yes, you have to climb a little bit on the path from the Cernobbio city centre. Yes, you have to take the bus from Como S. Giovanni to Cernobbio if you're coming by train as we did (from Milan or from Zürich). We came from Zürich at night and it was pretty dark on the path uphill, as you can imagine. But the view and everything is so worth it. So, do yourself a favour and be wild, don't stay in mass touristy places like Milan, Como etc. – don't be basic, you've got the idea. You won't regret it.

Welcoming, comfortable and grant value

A wonderful view over the lake and a comfortable room. Such a bonus to have a restaurant here, especially as we had the Thursday night autumn special. Great breakfast too. Parking was close by at the church square, which was free, but limited spaces. There’s paid, covered parking close as well. If you fancy a snack there’s a bakery almost opposite.

A charming hotel with excellent service and food, we’d happily return!

This hotel truly exceeded our expectations! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was a highlight: excellent food and very attentive service during dinner. The room was spotless and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. The hotel definitely deserves more than just one star. We would definitely stay here again!

The only minor downsides were the small bathroom and the older doors, which didn’t block out noise very well. We could hear both our neighbors and even people downstairs at times. Still, these were small issues compared to the overall experience.

Love this little restaurant/ hotel. Staff are fantastic. Location is beautiful and for us perfect. Food is lovely. Have now been here many times and find it the perfect place to break our journey.

The hotel and staff do everything they can to make it as good as can be. For us there is nothing that we don't love.

A small family hotel, good breakfast, great value for money.

A simple, yet nice and relaxed hotel, with an excellent breakfast and a nice view from the dining room. We were 3 adults - on our first night there our room was a bit small and the private bathroom was outside the room (we knew about it in advance), which was less comfortable. We came back a about a week later and got a better, more expensive room which was bigger and much more comfortable, with an en-suite bathroom. We also eat one dinner there - good pizza, very tasty affogato :) In general: great value for money, recommended!!

Little nice, cozy sleep

The room is petite but clean and decent. You got everything you need. Breakfast view is as advertise, beauuuuuuutiful! The staff are friendly and helpful!

No elevator. Its just a few floors but we have heavy luggage so its a bit of a struggle 😅

Will never stay here again.

Location

AC was not working and our requests to resolve this issue was not met with. Even after keeping the AC at 22degrees,as recommended, it did not help. If AC is listed in the amenities it should be working. If it is optional then the same has to be mentioned. Would be helpful for guests when booking. If this an error on part of booking.com, then that needs to be specially mentioned.

Cleanliness. Family room is spacious. Restaurant has a good view.

This is a restaurant. It doesn't seem the owner really care about the accommodation. Just a side business to make money from few empty upstairs rooms. The staff is not kind. The breakfast was very weak and limited. The buffet is not refilled even though there is still more than one hour before the closing time. If you raise this, "You have to come early!" the staff replies. As I pointed out they just don't care.

Bad

There was a healthy problem with one of the persons in the indicated reservation. Serious hearth and pulmonar problems suddenly appeared and obliged to hospitalization, in intensive care, in Ospedale Sant'Anna, in San fermo della battaglia, Como. Hotel didn´t canceled the reservation and or refund the amount paid, considering the problem I referred. I couldn't warn earlier, to free the room, because everything was very quick. I had medical justification from the Hospital. The Hotel didn´t refund and doesn´t have empathy for serious situation. Money is more important.

The hotel was at a great location on top of a high-rise area. It gave us a great view while having our morning breakfast. The hosts were lovely and gave us good care during our stay.

The bunk bed was not strong enough to bear a full-grown adult. The support structures were very weak.

Room are very clean and beautiful. Check in is no complicated.The man at Pizza Corner was a great help and very kind man.Food in the Restuarant was so good and Service men are really kind. We were so touched that they offered us 2Water bottles to take in room. My children liked the hotel so much.Preis is so cheap compare to other Hotel.Thank you.

Lovely, good value, a firm favourite of ours

This is a lovely, family run restaurant with rooms. This was our second visit and we will be back. Staff are lovely, food is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Great ambience and lovely views. Rooms are not exciting, but they are accurately advertised, everything works and they are comfortable, as the rooms are above the restaurant there is a little noise from chairs etc, but this stops at a reasonable time and we slept really well. Highly recommend.

Lovely staff

The staff were lovely. There is a restaurant below but it is not noisy. There is a small square 50m away with free parking, or a covered paid carpark below the terrace. It can get busy in the evening so you may need to move your car once the diners have left their (popular) restaurant. The room was clean and spacious

It is up a hill so you need to drive into Cernobbio (if very hot, on a cooler day you could walk). The bathroom is extremely small (but adequate) and the Aircon doesnt feel significant. However, this is just for others to manage expectations. It is a hotel I would recommend.
