A beautiful small hotel with excellent facilities and wonderful food - a great choice for breakfast and the 5 course dinner menu was amazing Cocktail service at the pool was so relaxing The wine tasting very good and definitely worth doing

The resort is beautiful and fulfilled my wife's dreams of being in a location that felt like authentic Italian countryside. The facility itself with its many patios and courtyards is beautiful, and the view from the resort is incredible. Beautiful Umbrian rolling hills with other incredible mansions in the distance, and covered with vineyards, olive groves, and natural woods. Everyone on the staff was incredible, and the breakfast offered many healthy options. We purchased lunch there twice and the sandwiches were large and delicious. We also purchased dinner twice, and the food was incredible. My wife has some ingredients that she just won't eat, and they were very accommodating about making changes where they could. A great place to relax or use as a base to explore some nearby towns of interest.

We wish the suppers could offer at least two choices each night. Each night was different, but one night the entree was based on veal, which my wife won't eat, so we ate elsewhere. Our bathroom had about a four inch step-up a few feet in. I was very worried my wife would trip and get hurt, but I was actually the one who tripped several times. Fortunately, skiing has given me enough balance and quick enough reactions that I didn't get hurt, but I could see someone falling and getting injured pretty badly. There are two approaches to the resort, depending on where you are coming from, and one involves a steep, winding, narrow road. There is nothing they can do about that, just be forewarned. We didn't realize how far out into the country the resort is, and before we finally arrived we were wondering what we had gotten ourselves into. But we were happy with the resort when we got there and it was worth it.

Amazing stay in Umbria with winery and vineyards across the road. Historical home with vintage decor. Extremely friendly staff who were more than happy to help us with any query. The pool and view was just perfect. We loved our stay here and hope to return in the future.

I was there in late September and there were only 6 of us (from what I counted) having dinner in the restaurant, which was outstanding. No one was there. The place is absolutely amazing and beautiful. I was there on my touring bike as I was bicycle touring in Umbria. The sense of peace and quiet was unmatched in my travels. I would definitely go back.
