Prachtig gelegen locatie in een stil dorpje met uitzicht op de groene heuvels. Een oude casa die historie ademt en waar de tijd even heeft stil gestaan. Om te genieten van de rust en het zwembadje en je (na een Camino) echt even lekker kan ontspannen.

Historie kent zijn prijs… Onze kamer had geen airconditioning en was dus erg warm. Voorts is er voor de vermoeide Camino-hanger helemaal niets aan eten te krijgen (en moet je wachten tot de restaurants in het dorp open zijn) en moet je zelfs voor het flesje water op de kamer betalen. En ‘s ochtends vroeg vertrekken voor de Camino is ook niet de bedoeling: de eigenaar laat gelijk duidelijk merken dat er vóór 08.30 uur toch echt nog geen ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Het is onze duurste kamer in 3 weken Camino is geweest. Dan mag je voor de hoge prijs van de kamer toch wel iets meer luxe en verzorging verwachten?

De ligging in een mooi dorpje is super. De zee is heerlijk fris. Wij verbleven in het hotel en in de villa. De villa had een groot mooi buiten. De dame die het huis beheerd was erg vriendelijk. Het zwembad beviel de kinderen erg goed, schoon en fijne bedjes.

In het hotel waren de bedden aan de harde kant.

Absolutely beautiful house with a pool in a stunning location

We stayed 1 night while walking the Camino. It was absolutely freezing! We were there mid May so you may be luckier if you go in high summer. There was no heating, the windows were running with condensation in the morning and the blinds were covered in mould spots. 2 of the rooms (superior) had fridges with water and beer plus a coffee machine - no indication of price ( I would expect to at least pay for the beer but not coffee or water in a superior room). There was nobody around when we left but my credit card was charged an extra €27. On querying this I was told there was a charge of €18 for 5 tiny bottles of water, 1 coffee pod and 1 small beer. I’m yet to know if they will refund me the remaining €9. Thank goodness we didn’t stay for breakfast (which I understand is €20) but walked to a wonderful cafe about 15 minutes away. This was our most expensive accommodation and was an enormous disappointment UPDATE I have just read the response from the property! My biggest issue was the fact that the property was so cold (and other guests mentioned this to us) - I have no problem with paying for drinks consumed (albeit at somewhat inflated prices that weren’t advertised) but I do have a problem with my credit card being overcharged even by just €9
