Everything was great, we were well looked after. Food at the hotel was very good indeed. Our room was very hot though, although the proprietor had provided fans. In high Summer this would be uncomfortably hot.

We have had a very enjoyable stay, the hotel is very dog friendly, our room was straight onto the garden, so ideal. Lovely little quiet hamlet very pretty area. Enjoyable day in Stamford. Luckily the weather has been beautiful

We booked a last minute stay for one night and the price we got was excellent, there were other choices that were maybe a bit more luxurious but double the price and we needed somewhere clean, comfortable with access to Rutland Water, this was ideal. Breakfast was really lovely and the staff helpful. Would definitely recommend it.
