The property is beautiful, and the location was great..

The rooms were clean and lovely, the beds were very comfy including the sofa bed. The breakfast was nice, mainly pastries but they did include some plain yogurt and some boiled eggs. There are a flight of stairs leading to the apartment and then once inside another short flight separating the bedroom area and the living area. The a/c worked well during a big heat wave. The view from the living room is beautiful.

A peaceful stay.close to Cortona but away from the crowd and noise and in the nature.very helpful staff. This is the location that we should be visiting the next time for sure.

A lovely place, for those looking for peace and quiet, very well kept and run.

The property was very well kept, clean, pleasing to the eye and ears - it was quiet and lovely. Christian was very helpful and warm.

The breakfast was okay but may be a little variety could be introduced. But there was nothing I didn't like.

Magical place

The place is amazing. I recommend it to anyone who is considering staying in the Cortona area. Huge apartments with a sense of history are equipped with everything you need. Beautiful garden and wonderful views all around. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Heaven on Earth

This place is magic! So beutiful we couldn't wait to come back at the end of the day. Great place to stay for visiting a lot of Tuscan gems like Cortona, Montepulciano, Monticchiello, Eremo "Le celle", Pienza and so much more. Very close are also Lago Trasimeno and Perugia. The apartment was very cosy, bed extra comfy, everything was so beautiful! Breakfast was also delicious. We couldn't reccomend this place enough and we will absolutely come back for sure.

Calm and buitiful place.

The place is very nice. Old monastery buildings, renovated and suitable for the comfort stay, but still with the charm of history. The territory around is big, buitiful garden and horses. Big pool and places for the quite stay. Staff is very helphul and friendly. The breakfast is good. Wifi connection also is strong and good. Recommend.

Not what we expected

We had a very friendly greeting from lady when we first arrived. The location was great. Very near to Cortona but you need a car. The room was spacious 2 floors with a living room. So great for a family. Our bed was comfortable and the pool area was nice. Cortona is also very beautiful.

Unfortunately there were more things we didnt like. I was not aware that there is no service for anything. No food no breakfast. We provided everything, including extra toilet paper. I didnt know when booking this place i would be cleaning and cooking. There is no daily cleaning. So the house gets very dusty and there are lots of bugs, spider webs everywhere, which made me extremely uncomfortable. The pool was also filled with dead bugs. I did not see any staff when we were there and we stayed 4 nights. To be honest it looks more luxurious in the pictures. If you dont mind any of these things then its great. But we nearly left 1 night early. As we were leaving i saw the cleaning lady come to clean our room with new bed sheets and towels, and she put the pile of clean sheets and towels on top of the garbage can while she kneeled down to get something.😣 Im sorry but i cant say we had the best time here.

The staff the was very friendly and helpful (Amata). Rooms are large. Location was 10 minutes drive from town center. Was rainy so did not use the pool etc.

A tranquil setting and ideal for a complete quiet break

Beautiful rural location. Car is essential as there are no local shops or facilities as you expect in a tiny hamlet location. Very peaceful and charming renovation to this ancient building.

everything is AMAZING! so confortable, the staff is absolutely lovely (super accessible on WhatsApp at all times!!!) and the bed and the sheets are just dreamy! We would 100% come back!!! The kitchen is great, we cooked a lot with fresh ingredients from the supermarket nearby! amazing!

Apartment needs maintenance

Staff was really nice and helpful. The airconditoning was really nice, there was a seperate unit in every room which was great. Wifi worked very well. The big garden is amazing, beds by the pool very convenient. Our apartment had a nice sheltered seating outside.

Honestly, it looked more luxurious in the pictures than it actually was. Our apartment on the ground floor needs some maintenance. The bed was squeeky, water pressure in shower was very weak and the water temperature fluctuated. There is almost no hot water coming from the tap in the kitchen. The shower has a curtain, which means water flows everywhere. The cleaning could really be improved, especially under the beds (spider webs) and the bathroom floor. Also, a new set of frying pans is needed.

Love swimming pool but disappointed in how they handled the problem with the aircon.

In country side - self catering and nice swimming pool for heat.

Aircon started leaking first night which made a mess and was noisy. Told reception about it. They said it will be sorted out the next day between 4 and 5. After 5 when we enquired they told us guy can not come. No communication. Also no help to “dampen” the noice or providing extra towel to stop the water. No photo or indication in add that the bathroom has a curtain in it. Water flowing everywhere in bathroom: When we wanted to check out we and another couple could not find the receptionist. Calles, send whatsapp, knocked

The pool and grounds are very nice. The bed was comfortable. The pool made the rental worth it as it was very hot.

The apartment has a problem with the tiny red ants. Not just a few. They came out when a little juice was spilled and were all over the counter. Fortunately not in the bedroom. The thin frying pans were severally dented and warped.
