Excellent location in the heart of São Luis’ historic district. Can walk to most important historical buildings and good typical restaurants. Building is historic and has plenty of charm, with breakfast served in the tree-filled courtyard. Some rooms have big balconies overlooking the courtyard.
It’s a little run down; creaky bed, sheets were loose and came off. Water never got hot in the shower, was cooler than lukewarm.

I liked the location in the historic centre.
It would have been good to know in advance that taxi/uber can’t go all the way to the door as the street is closed for cars.

Location is great if your goal is to know the historic center. The room was big.
The air conditioning and the electric shower were not working properly. Breakfast had many options but it wasn't great. It's a pity that such beautiful property is being so badly kept. Needs improvement
