Knossos Beach Bungalows Suites Resort & Spa

The room was Amazing. Wrap around balcony view. Able to watch the sunrise from bed. The bed was King size and actually very comfortable. The lady who checked me in was beautifully sweet and accommodating. The staff was warm and friendly.

The beach behind the hotel is good. Their buffet restaurant offers very good food, and Maria who works there is simply marvelous and caring. The apartment was good. It was a good experience all in all.

For reasons I can't explain they are not fond of providing new beach towels when the ones we have got are wet. They simply take them away. Their towels were oldish. That's not a 5-star hotel, which can be a bit deceitful. The hotel is a bit far away from everything else.

We booked Knossos beach resort based on reviews, photos and the amazing packaged it offered. It exceeded all our expectations!! From the moment we arrived, we were offered a complimentary room upgrade along with our beach cabana. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were well looked after! We arrived early, early check in was not a problem. We well full inclusive for the entire stay (3 nights) and we didn't spend a penny!! Everything is included; amazing buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner at a very high quality, new food every day, always so fresh with great attention to detail, all our our snacks and drinks by the beach delivered right to our beach cabana were also included (cocktails, beer, food etc). We had wonderful massages in the spa area, we chose to eat in one of the restaurants (not included) for a special meal, you are given a discount and the food was incredible and very reasonably priced!! On our last day, our flight wasn't until 10pm, the hotel allowed us to stay until 6pm with an extra charge of €30, and we kept our all inclusive bands and cabana all day. Honestly, this place was truly so special, amazing sandy beaches, pure clean water, no noise, so quiet, no loud music, tranquil, clean, friendly and the most amazing greek food!! We will be back, it was one of the most relaxing stays I've ever had. Huge than you to Harris who went above and beyond to look after us!! The lovely waitress, Maria waitress, Dimitris beach bar manager, and wonderful massages from Evalina Spa. To the chef, we particularly enjoyed our buffet lunches! The hotel has a lot of potential. The rooms are nicely designed, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The sunbeds were clean, and the gym was well-equipped and well-maintained. The real highlight, though, was the buffet – a definite 10/10! We only had breakfast included, but the food was so delicious, fresh, and varied that we ended up paying to eat there lunch and dinner . The restaurant service was also excellent, making each meal a pleasure.

Unfortunately, the room we received did not match the photos shown when booking. Even more concerning, our mattress had mold. While it was replaced, the bed frame still had mold, which is unacceptable and potentially dangerous, especially for anyone with allergies. For such a large resort, the management could definitely be improved in terms of quality control and guest experience. Also, while the sunbeds were clean, the sand and the front area of the beach were not, which took away from the overall beach experience.
