Knossos Beach Bungalows Suites Resort & Spa

The village design, the lovely gardens, the lovely rooms...

The sauna and hydropool should be part of the basic room booking. The Hotel does call itself a Resort AND Spa Location under airport approach route is very noisy ...maybe 100 flights a day. Basic room balconies dont have sun shades/umbrellas so cannot use them most of the day.

We were a group of 8, occupying three rooms. Every one of us had a fantastic time at the Knossos Beach Bungalows. The location was superb (right one beach), two of our rooms had a lovely view of the beach. It was so lovely to be able to hear the waves Everything was very clean and our room was perfectly cleaned and tidied every day. The food and the drinks were excellent (we ate at the three restaurants on the property) and the staff there couldn't be more friendlier. The views from all three restaurants were amazing. The beach was exceptional: clean, comfortable lounges, excellent swimming, some of us took advantage of and really enjoyed the drink and the food brought from the hotel bar. We are especially grateful to Haris at the guest relations for making us feel so welcome, helping our group with the rooms, being so friendly and patient, speaking not only English, but also Russian. She made our experience at Knossos Beach amazing. Also, we wanted to thank Nina at the reception for helping us with any requests we had, in English or in Russian - we so appreciated your friendliness and kindness.

The hotel has a lot of potential. The rooms are nicely designed, and the staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. The sunbeds were clean, and the gym was well-equipped and well-maintained. The real highlight, though, was the buffet – a definite 10/10! We only had breakfast included, but the food was so delicious, fresh, and varied that we ended up paying to eat there lunch and dinner . The restaurant service was also excellent, making each meal a pleasure.

Unfortunately, the room we received did not match the photos shown when booking. Even more concerning, our mattress had mold. While it was replaced, the bed frame still had mold, which is unacceptable and potentially dangerous, especially for anyone with allergies. For such a large resort, the management could definitely be improved in terms of quality control and guest experience. Also, while the sunbeds were clean, the sand and the front area of the beach were not, which took away from the overall beach experience.
