Friendly staff, lovely and clean

Very clean, great pool, staff friendly and efficient, and added bonus of a shuttle bus service to Marbella

Bathrooms are lovely and efficient, but now a little dated

I liked that the hotel is affordable and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Also interiors of the hotel is quite nice, along with the helpful staff.

Gym is so old and is just terrible and rusty. They should really upgrade their gym. Most of the equipment is rusty and old, and there is not enough dumbells.

Cooked breakfast was a little cold.

Our room was spacious, we had a nice balcony and we also loved the pool, had a great dinner and an exceptional treatment at the Spa. The entire staff was super friendly. If you are there for a gold trip, it really is an amazing place!

I had been at the hotel before. This was a couple of years ago and I remembered it to be an oasis of calm and quiet, unfortunately I can’t say that anymore. A lot has been build around the area including a highway, so you constantly have background noise, which for me personally took a lot from the experience (not the hotel’s fault of course). If you golf, it’s still a great choice. The ocean and city are quite far, which one needs to be aware of.

Large bedrooms. Beautiful breakfast room and facilities in general. Staff very helpful and polite.

Might be a bit cleaner; it requires some maintenance here&there as it’s getting old.

Room was located facing the golf course and a VERY busy road which meant we didn't enjoy sitting out on the balcony -Large trucks passing below and horrible mopeds Room service was loud first thing in the morning, unless you have a do not disturb sign on, it's 'knock to open' Did not replenish basics like water, tea/coffee and milk unless specifically requested Hotel is an hour from the airport so factor in 100 Euro taxi fare to and from airport plus any excursions -We tried to get there by bus but impossible and although the hotel offer a shuttle they charge the same amount as a taxi Used Uber for local trips which was fine but apparently Bolt cheaper Hotel had the feel of a family resort but attracted large groups of men on 'golfing trips', and this morning walked into a pile of vomit on the front concourse -Great. Lots of drinking by the pool -Possibly a Brit thing along the south coast of Spain which unfortunately sets a precedence for us all, witnessed a young (circa 30 yo) Brit being educated on the need to wear footwear at breakfast, otherwise aimlessly walking round bare chested and bare footed whilst everyone else took the time to actually get dressed. Most likely an exception but a shame as it's a lovely resort.

The rooms are specious. Loved that. Breakfast was great too! Really enjoyed it. But if you don’t play golf -not sure you have to stay there unless you have Marriot points.

The amenities are way too old. The shower was broken and the calk around sinks and mirrors are so moldy and old

Such a lovely hotel and smells so nice in reception and the rooms also smell so good. Beds are SO comfy - we had a super king size. Rooms are nice size and super clean. Bathrooms are dated but traditional and very clean - they have character for Spain and I really liked the old fashioned style tiles. I slept so good and room was made up daily with fresh towels, dressing gowns and slippers. So lovely. The staff are a friendly and helpful. Shuttle bus service to the marina etc was a bonus!

Such a shame as this is the only thing that lets it down. The food! The breakfast, lunch and dinner and even the pool side snacks and lunch drinks etc are poor. Can’t get a good coffee either. They have those awful machines that taste like chlorine. Apparently I wasn’t the only guest to mention this. The lunch around the pool was quite grim. I had to send back food as the salad was unwashed for example and the chicken skewers looked boiled and I actually found a fly in a yoghurt and mould on some fruit that was on a bowl of yoghurt for my baby. Such a shame as it’s honestly such a nice hotel but take snacks and use the mini bar fridge lol. We went out every night for dinner and ate snacks from the supermarket. Very expensive for their really bad food also. I’m not the only guest to mention how lovely the hotel is but the food really lets it down. Has so much potential! The location is a little annoying as there is no where you can go for a walk to restaurants etc. so get a car or get shuttle bus.

Great location and very clean- nice staff.

This is a No smoking hotel and should be made aware of that before visiting , charging for the car park in my view was a little harsh, but other than that all was good. Another point is swimming pool does not open till 10.00. Bathrooms need an update as look very tired.

I did not like the property and I think the management personnel are awful.

My room was repeatedly - day and night - filled with the unmistakeable odor and fumes of tobacco smoke burning my eyes and nose and causing me to cough. At first the hotel said they would fix it but then decided to say there could not be a problem. I offered for a manager to come and sit in my room but they declined. They began acting like I was making it up. However, I also spoke to one of their maintenance engineers and to two housekeepers who both confirmed that this is a problem at this hotel and explained how it occurs. After multiple efforts on my part to get them to own up to the problem and deal with it I finally put a hold on my credit card payment and sent messages to Bookings.com and to the Westin organization. As far as I am concerned they are consciously and negligently exposing me and other guests - including children - to a high concentration of a known cancer and other disease causing substance. I plan on identifying concerned governmental agencies and sharing my experience with them and to urge them to conduct on onsite inspection.
