A peaceful stay immersed in the Tuscan countryside

The facilities were wonderful, immersed in the countryside, with various little houses, a big pool, and a spacious terrace for breakfast and dinner. The room was big with a very functional, fully renovated bathroom. We also appreciated its private, outside seating space. The owners are courteous, and the anti-mosquito plug provided in the room was a welcome attention.

The room decor was characteristic but a bit on the old side. The soundproofing could be improved. The breakfast buffet could be supplemented with more local products/fruit and offer some options for intolerant/vegan guests.

Relaxing and quiet, excellent value for the price!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was super relaxing and quiet – exactly what I needed. The swimming pool was a highlight: clean, peaceful, and very enjoyable. I did run into a small issue during my stay, but the staff handled it immediately with the best attitude, which made all the difference. Breakfast was delicious, and the coffee was great too. While there weren’t a ton of options, everything they served was tasty. Overall, I felt it was excellent value for the price. I would definitely come back!

A bit disappointing

Great location, tucked in typical Tuscan countryside. Beautiful views. The outside was nice, swimming pool was ok.

No water pressure - difficult to have a decent shower. Not real beds, but stretchers used in camping with a mattress over (full of holes). On last evening all of a sudden one of the beds collapsed while sleeping. Boring breakfast, terrible coffee.

Excellent stay in Tuscany

There wasn't anything not to like! The staff is friendly and very helpful, breakfast was delicious, and it was wonderful to have the option to reserve a table at their restaurant for dinner. We were traveling as a family and met up with friends, and the kids enjoyed the pool and surrounding lawn to play in after a hot day sightseeing in Florence, Pisa, or Lucca. The rooms all had air conditioning units that were adjustable to our own comfort levels. We'd definitely come again.

Only the extreme July heat, and that's not their fault! 😀

Excellent!

I stayed two nights at the hotel. I was arriving late after check in times but the staff took care that I could check in later. I stayed one full day working from the premises, the staff was extremely helpful in facilitating everything for me. I have only good experiences with the staff, the quality of the hotel and restaurant and the swimming pool was very nice. Thank you so much!

Peaceful & Quiet!A great place to stay at!

Really lovely place to stay at.Nice pool and rooms.The host are really friendly and welcoming.They recommended us really nice restaurants in the surroundings as there is no food service on site beside breakfast nor supermarket near by.Really close to the Terme de Saturnia which you should definitely visit!Just be aware that the last piece of road to reach the B&B is quite rough as full of bumps and gravels but still accessible with a Mini. Highly recommended spot if you are looking for peace & quiet!

Exceptional

A very attractive location, offered a 100% Tuscany experience, with cypresses and rolling hills full of vineyards. Great swimming pool and relax area! A very tasty breakfast, perfect pastry and coffee. We hope to come back and stay longer.

Nice clean room and comfy bed

We had a larger room attached seperate to the property. Great size and lots of space for 3 of us. Very clean the rooms were and beds were very comfy. Breakfast was good each morning. Location it’s a 20 min train journey from lastra a signa (7 min drive from the hotel) to the centre which was brilliant! Very easy journey if you have a car and take a right out of the hotel rather than follow maps to the train station! Free car park too!

We went in May and the pool was shut. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Pretty location, but everything else was very disappointing.

Breakfast was poor, room was basic, no water tea or coffee in room, cold water after one shower, communication was very difficult as our Italian wasn't great and they didn't understand English, not a great location if you don't have a car as taxis very unreliable, Evening meal was ok but very expensive.

A great stay in Tuscany

It is quiet, a very nice location, in Tuscany. Everything is very tidy, they clean rooms every day, the property is huge, the parking also. Our room was recently renovated and the barhwoom was really beautiful. Close to Lastra (train station with parking) to Florence. The staff is very kind, the breakfast is amazing (a bit less of salami but very sweet, a lot of croissants), the lady makes coffee in the morning. One of the rooms was missing soap in the bathroom, but we had it with us.

It is quite remote, you need a car. Otherwise everything was perfect!!

Beautiful swimming pool and really good reastaurant

I like the swimming pool, which is big enough, and also the restaurant and breakfast service. The position is strategic, it's near Firenze and Asmana Wellness World, so it's perfect to visit these beautiful places during the day.

I dislike the style of the room, it is a big room but with an old style furniture and an old and small bathroom.

Definately worth to come back to this place

- The location is great, we could drive easily from there all over Tuscany. Close to Florence. - The stuff was super nice and friendly all the time. - The restaurant, we had some nice dinners there, very convenient and the food is just delicious. - The pool, nice and warm water. We were with a baby and it was great fun (although it has a depth of only approx 1,5m, but for us it was great). - Family friendly, there were many families with young kids and babies, us including, all very happy.

- Many wasps around the property. There is probably a nest close by and they are just everywhere. Would be great to find the nest and move it somewhere else. - Not so easy to move around with a baby stroller. This should’t stop you from going there, but just to know that it’s not very straight forward - you always need to go around things, lift the stroller when there are stairs, always unlock the double narrow doors etc. - The breakfast is ok, but the boiled eggs are way to soft, they were basically raw. Once in a while they are very hard (probably different people are preparing them), but most of the time they were impossible to eat. Not a big problem though if you don’t necesarily like eating eggs for breakfast.
