Beautiful hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff. Great location, walking distance from the center of Monza and just across the street from the Villa Reale di Monza. Breakfast was delicious. They even have a little parking lot in the back. I would be happy to stay here again if I ever come back to Monza.

Charming hotel

The property was beautifully decorated and very charming. The restaurant for dinner was excellent! One of the best dinners we had in Italy.

For the price we paid I excepted a lot more. The room was underwhelming and no bottles of water provided. The room was not cleaned well and dust was piling up everywhere. We had to pay an extra 25 euros for our breakfast which was only continental. It would have been $35 for hot breakfast. Overall I was expecting a lot more.

Beautiful property - breakfast was excellent- good service overall.

It is located in a residential area - city center and restaurants are 15 to 20 min walk. During our stay, it rained a lot so the streets and sidewalks were flooded.

Beautiful friendly hotel in a wonderful location. A little oasis

All of the staff were amazing from start to finish. From the welcome in the car park, the reception staff, the restaurant and also the breakfast staff, each and everyone.

A minor grievance is that we were charged for water in the room. I would expect a hotel of this calibre to include water for bed time.

Pure Italian charm with top service.

The hotel is exceptional – a true gem for lovers of traditional Italian charm and old-world atmosphere. Perfectly located, cosy, and stylish. I haven’t seen this level of service anywhere else. They serve the most delicious Chateaubriand – compliments to the chef! Thank you – keep up the great work!

A hotel with a lot of history, but completely in touch with the latest and the greatest

We got a room upgrade and what an upgrade it was! The room was big, airy, it had the flair of Formula 1 history, but was kitted up with the latest technology. The bathroom was huge and the shower so spacious you could've fit three people in there. The staff was super kind and helpful. From the front desk staff to the cleaning ladies to the bar and restaurant staff - everyone greeted us with a smile and a friendly word. Would love to come back. Also, the restaurant and the bar deserve top scores!

Beautiful property!

Absolutely stunning!

Nothing to complain about with the property. Now I had one incident while here. I was in my room changing and a house staff just walked in the room unannounced. I was surprised they had no idea that someone was in the room and didn’t knock. I had some clothes on so it wasn’t shocking. But it made me uncomfortable about staff members just coming in and out of the room.

Beautiful hotel full of history but lacked modern essentials - coffee in room.

The property itself was amazing, the decor and architecture was outstanding and as expected. The location was simply perfect for exploring Monza,

we were disappointed that we had no coffee making facilities in our room whatsoever, something you expect these days especially having had this is much lessor hotels during our stay in italy. Breakfast was very chaotic, it was busy however we were perched on high bar stools with a tine table thus we were overlooked and felt very rushed and uncomfortable.

Simply superb

The hotel was simply superb, from the staff and accommodation to the exceptional breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and surrounding area right across from the Royal Palace of Savoy and its gardens. This was, by far, the most luxurious, opulent hotel we've ever stayed in, but with a very unpretentious, homey and welcoming feeling. As if you stepped back in time, but with all the modern amenities you could ask for. And Monza in August has just the right number of tourists to be interesting without being crowded. Only downside: we missed the Formula 1 race by a weekend. But all the more reason to return to this quaint Italian city and one-of-a-kind Hotel de la Ville Monza!

Exceptional hotel both for business and leisure

I am coming to this hotel since 20 years and it never fails to impress, Outstanding service and friendliness of personnel, the rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Restaurant Derby Grill perfect for business dinners. Best breakfast I had on my travels so far.

Small hotel with much to offer!

Situated short walk into town for restaurants and convenient rental car pick up. (Good jumping off point to visit Lake Como). Bike and scooter rental right outside property. Rooms well appointed, clean with extremely comfortable beds. Unfortunately we booked without breakfast option but breakfast room located in lovely covered veranda. Uniquely decorated with friendly responsive staff. Did not eat at hotel so cannot comment on Derby restaurant.
