It was stunning. We loved staying in the castle and the surrounding villages were beautiful. Loved the history and the service from the staff was excellent.

Beautiful location and building. Everything was lovely, including the restaurant. We had a great meal in their restaurant. Very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Highly recommend for a special stay.

This medieval castle at the foot of the gorge beside the river Tarn is immense, a most majestic setting for a hotel. The interior of the hotel does not disappoint either. there are few finer places to dine than on the terrace overlooking the river and gardens with the sun dappled cliffs above.
In recent years as the prices have jumped the quality of the restaurant has dipped alarmingly. This year was the food was poor and over priced.
