Our room was lovely, the view, the staff, the bed, the bathroom - beautiful old building.
We dined the first evening, but unfortunately the bees took over not allowing us to enjoy our meal. The staff tried to help, but the swarm of about 15 enjoyed the honey and pate more than we did. Breakfast was a bit better, but we did not dine there another evening. truly a bad experience. other guests were swatting away also. There must be at least one bee hive around..

A stunning setting..gorgeous spacious room, beautifully appointed. Magical to stay in a chateau . Pool excellent and nice walks with access to the river. Breakfast excellent and a fine dining experience in the restaurant

An absolutely STUNNING location in the Gorges du Tarn. We were in the annex which was SUPERB with a lovely comfortable bed and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The pool was excellent but maybe need a few more parasols. The young man at the pool bar was very good and made excellent cocktails. Overall amazing and we will definitely be back.
We had dinner in the restaurant in a fantastic setting but the food was extremely underwhelming given the stunning setting and the luxury of the Chateau. The service was quite slow. The gardens could have been a bit tidier.

This medieval castle at the foot of the gorge beside the river Tarn is immense, a most majestic setting for a hotel. The interior of the hotel does not disappoint either. there are few finer places to dine than on the terrace overlooking the river and gardens with the sun dappled cliffs above.
In recent years as the prices have jumped the quality of the restaurant has dipped alarmingly. This year was the food was poor and over priced.
