Location was perfect, one of the best hotels in India. However the best part about Udaivillas is not the location, or the building but the people. They have a fantastic team, right from the moment you enter and till the time you leave, the whole experience stays with you and the hospitality of the people leaves you feeling at home. We spent 4 days at Udaivillas and felt more comfortable than being at home. Its about small details, how everyone remembers your name, to addressing smallest of the query on time. You feel as if the whole hotel staff is only there to serve you. Amazing experience and am definitely returning back. Special thanks to Namrata, Bhairavji, Simranand all other staff members.

Although everything was beyond our expectations, I felt the new year's eve was slightly underwhelming. Udaivillas had raised our expectations so high that I felt the new year celebration could have been more grand and included more performances.

Because we missed our boat ride on Lake Pichola due to a 2hr line at the dock, the concierge arranged for us to have a little private boat ride on the shuttle boat; that was above and beyond!! Thanks for everything

The only disappointment was that there were not enough lounge chairs at the pools. Every time we checked, they were all being used

This is luxury living no doubt about it. Rooms and locations are great with super view.

Staff is very much confused, when we checked in , that day was great however next day as we went for breakfast we were asked to wait but after waiting for like 20 min we were told to go down but again person in-front of udaimahal asked as to wait again. Not sure why staff was not in sync. Then by the time we started as were waited it was closing time. But staff was more like corporate started wrapping up even when we waited. However the property is more like a money making machine, every where staff is ready to scrap money out of you. And then when we checked in were told about property tour but post breakfast when we asked person at the reception told us there is no such thing then another staff said buggy will come at entrance. Not sure why so much confusion, assuming staff is highly trained and even at dinner staff was not able to use cutlery to serve us breakfast. If it was premium or commercial restaurant i can understand however this is pure luxury hotel. Even we shared feedback during checkout but were not heard.
