I have stayed in many hotels around the world, but for a property that claims to be 5-star like Caravelle Saigon, I found the experience quite disappointing. While the location is excellent, the service did not meet expectations. The staff lacked professionalism, especially in how they with guests. We were sitting in the hotel lobby having coffee, which was already priced at nearly three times higher than outside cafés. However, we were not allowed to consume our own drinks and pastries that we had brought with us. I find this policy unreasonable and lacking in flexibility, especially considering we were already paying customers using their services. The rigid attitude of the staff made the experience uncomfortable and far from what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. Overall, not worth the rating in my opinion.
