The hotel was excellent value and had everything we needed and more.

Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Comfortable, well lit. Staff were good. Nice lobby area and good location.

The breakfast was not worth the price.

Good but needs more efforts on hotel part

Clean, good location, helpful staff, renovated facilities.

The buffet breakfast is extremely expensive. 25 dollars as an add on. The dining room is welcoming but the food is not very good at all. They make fake eggs (powdered) no toaster for the breads, not much fresh fruit, hot selection is very limited at best, help seems unhappy, no tea bags. Don’t bother. Overpriced and subpar.

Great location and large, updated rooms, in a clean and comfortable building.

Rooms were very large and had more than enough space for two people. The decor was updated and the location was very central to the cathedral and the Christmas markets. There were plenty of options in the area for food and drinks.

There wasn't a coffee pot or tea kettle in the room. The cost of parking is around 30 euro a day and the only way to pay for parking is with cash at the machine and it didn't take 50 euro bills. The closest ATM is at the train station so plan to have cash on hand with specific bills for the parking.

Over priced

Air con wasn’t working in the room. Only 1 room key provided so we were unable to leave items on charge. A wedding was happening and the music was very loud up until 11pm. At €352 (excluding breakfast) we felt it was overpriced.

- Staff were really friendly. - The hotel was placed in the centre of the city so it was really easy to get to places. - The check out time was midday, which was excellent as we liked to experience the nightlife. - The bed was large and comfy. Usually I suffer with a bad neck, especially when I don’t have my pillow but I didn’t get neck pain once. I also liked it that my boyfriend and I got a duvet each so we didn’t have to fight for warmth in the night.

- No tea caddy. - The lock of our bedroom door would stick so it would take several attempts to get into our room. However, we never brought this up with staff. - The room was quite small and there was no door to the bathroom itself so if I wanted to go to the toilet or shower while my partner was asleep, he just got a light on his face. There was also quite a bit of furniture packed in the room, so having two suitcases was a squeeze. - We saw a silverfish in the room and two fruit flies appeared when we had no food in the room and there was a bit of a smell like drains when we would walk in, but again we never brought this up with staff. While these are negatives, overall we had a positive experience there. So while negatives, it shouldn’t stop people from going there because I think the positives out weigh the negatives

Nice Hotel in a great location, Really close to the train station. To bad no air-conditioning.

The Hotel is situated in a great location, really close to the train station and the Cathedral. The room was really small, but enough to make it work.

First of all, the air conditioning in the room did not work, and the room was extremely warm, so we had to keep our window open the whole time. This led to the next thing, as no air conditioning was working, so everybody had their windows open, allowing everyone to hear the person next to them.

I would definitely stay here again when in Koln

The hotel was undergoing improvements on the ground floor when I visited, but they should eb completed fairly soon. I was given an upgrade to my room without requesting one, which was very welcome. the staff were very helpful and when the work is complete it will be an attractive offer. Very handy for the train station

A pleasant and peaceful 5 nights in central Koln

Room spacious. Very quiet too. Location very good - close to train Station, Dom, Altstadt, river, restaurants etc. (in fact was opposite the brauhaus Schreckenskammer) etc. Breakfast was good, but see next answer

Comfortable Stay in a Convenient Location

We had a great stay at this hotel! It’s just a few minutes’ walk from both the train and bus stations, and about a 7-minute walk to the cathedral—super convenient for exploring the city. Although the hotel seemed to be undergoing some renovations, it still looked clean and well-kept inside. Check-in was quick, and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We booked the Superior Double Room, which was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having two pillows each. The shower was nice (though the water didn’t get super hot—just warm enough to be comfortable), and we loved the added touch of having bathrobes provided. The staff was kind enough to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout, which we really appreciated. The desk in the room was also helpful for organizing our things. All in all, a clean, comfortable stay in a great location.

Our room was supposed to include a view of the inner courtyard, but either we didn’t get that view or it just wasn’t much to see—though we did have doors leading directly outside, which was a nice feature.

Nice, comfortable hotel in great location with a few perks.

Location, view, parking, room size, rather good sound isolation.

Heating in room was strange and blow semi cold directly to one side of bed. Max temp possible is 23°C. Floor heating in bathroom was only one smal cube in front of sink, none in toilet or shower, even though there is marble tiles there. There were no socket next to bed at least in my room. In one othere there were. L Some maintenance small things that personnel repaired after info. Room lighting is rather low. There is no possibility of "day light like" option. Just lower brightness. Parking rule - if one leaves the garage he/she could not be able to find a spot upon return even though 24h fee is payed. 24h fee is automatic if car was parked after 7 pm. Not really good for business visitors. Strange labyrinth of elevators and corridors to some parts of hotel.

Hotel is in a quiet square very close to the station, opposite the beautiful St Ursula Church. The nearby Agnesviertel is a good place to eat out and go for coffee. Clean, comfortable rooms.

The hotel reception smelt of bad drains. Our room looked onto a dark inner courtyard.

location amazing

room was very nice, shower room also excellent. bed was very comfy, bathroom facilities excellent, including heated towel rail.

there was a smoking area right outside my bedroom window which meant i couldn't open the window unless i wanted the room to stink. the reception staff on our arrival would only give out one key per room, despite us being in double rooms, this seemed totally unnecessary.

Nice and helpful reception. Clean room. Very good smell in room. I could open the window and it was so good. Nice bed. 6 min too central Station Köln.

There was no electric water boiler for make tea or coffee in room. Must of the hotels have it. When I was in lobby I asked for plates and 2 glasses and the person was there give it all too me in lobby ... it was strange because they must bring them to room not gave it too me and my hands was full. No smoke room

A pleasant stay. Would use again

Staff was very kind. The breakfast was very good and they also provided gluten free bread. I needed to stay close to the station and this hotel was perfect. Good value for money. The room was good size and quiet, bathroom was clean and functional with good shower and nice shampoo and soap provided.

The air conditioning was not working properly, but it was not a great issue.

Hotel in a great location!

The hotel was in a great location, a little out of the way, but still in the center. The hotel rooms were clean and there was a little luxury on offer, e.g. Rituals products, bathrobe and slippers...

The only thing I didn't like was the chaos of the breakfast. People had to queue and the breakfast room was completely full of people. Since this was obviously not the first time, the hotel should take some steps to ease the situation.

Lovely oasis in the middle of Cologne.

Room was very nice and comfortable. Hotel is pleasantly a bit eclectic and stylish. Breakfast was very nice, however at peak moments a bit crowded.

Pillows are filled with some synthetic material so a bit squishy. But that's just a small point. Some staff could smile a bit more but otherwise everyone was fine and the stay was very pleasant.
