Lovely traditional hotel, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. Breakfast was great and the restaurant is lovely. We have stayed many times on the way through Germany to the UK. It is close to the motorway.
There were a couple of staff members who were a little off, they seemed like they were doing us a favour by checking us in and taking orders in the restaurant.

Lage am Waldrand ist ideal für Wanderausflüge und Joggingrunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Sehr ruhig und kein Straßenlärm.
Frühstück sehr umfangreich. Es war für alle etwas dabei, auch für Leute die kohlenhydratarm, bzw. kohlenhydratfrei essen wollen. Viel Rohkost war super. Räucherlachs, Haferflocken ohne Zusätze und Biojoghurt würden das Frühstück noch ergänzen. Personal war immer sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Bad war sehr klein mit wenig Ablageflächen. Zum Teil waren die Fliesen beschädigt. Der Heizkörper war ziemlich eingestaubt, so dass man wenig Lust hatte, die Handtücher dort aufzuhängen.
Das Fitness-Studio im Keller hatte nur ein Ergometer mit defektem Sattel und der Stepper müsste auch wieder mal gewartet werden (laute Quietschgeräusche bei Benutzung). Es lagen auch defekte Hanteln im Raum. Wenn man ein Fitnessraum anbietet, sollte dieser auch gewartet, entsprechend gepflegt und auch besser ausgestattet werden!

Rooms were quite ok; the bed was a bit on the small side, and the room was a little bit too noisy. The breakfast buffet was very good.
There was no parking space available for me when I arrived, since all parking spots were already taken by restaurant guests. Unfortunately, there are no parking spots that are reserved only for hotel guests. Therefore, it is not a good idea to come to this hotel by car during the weekend, since there's a high chance that all parking spots will be taken by restaurant guests then.
