As expected

Lovely traditional hotel, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. Breakfast was great and the restaurant is lovely. We have stayed many times on the way through Germany to the UK. It is close to the motorway.

There were a couple of staff members who were a little off, they seemed like they were doing us a favour by checking us in and taking orders in the restaurant.

Lovely hotel

Quiet location with direct access to the woods for walks. Sitting outside on the terrace. Dogs were welcome. Great parking. Great food.

Position of hotel and car parking good. Room was adequate but could do with air-conditioning. Parking was good.

Restaurant was ok but service rather slow and meal not up to the standard of other hotels I stayed at in Germany. Wine was expensive.

Do not choose this hotel if you plan to arrive by car during the weekend

Rooms were quite ok; the bed was a bit on the small side, and the room was a little bit too noisy. The breakfast buffet was very good.

There was no parking space available for me when I arrived, since all parking spots were already taken by restaurant guests. Unfortunately, there are no parking spots that are reserved only for hotel guests. Therefore, it is not a good idea to come to this hotel by car during the weekend, since there's a high chance that all parking spots will be taken by restaurant guests then.

Superb

Everything was great except for one episode, that's why I don't give 10. Big parking, nicely equipped rooms, silent location. Very good restaurant where we both dined and had a breakfast. Breakfast was very good. Restaurant is obviously popular among locals. Our family was very happy with a food. Personnel in restaurant is super friendly.

Water in shower is not going down in a proper way. While I was showering (normal, not long shower) water started to run over the floor of the bathroom and I had to turn of the water and freeze at least 3 minutes while waiting the water to go down. When I told it on reception, i was asked "was it just the shower, or smth else?". I mean that it is not "JUST-thing" for a 4 stars hotel.

Google map led to wrong place but luckily we found instruction arrow made by the hotel, it seems to be a natural forest is just by the other side of the hotel entrance, a morning walk is great.

Quiet location with helpful friendly staff for a short break away

Wasn't keen on our room so a quick word with staff and we were given a much nicer one. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet location. Good parking area (we arrived quite late and there were various options - we choose away from over-hanging trees, under a street lamp). Bus stop into Bonn just a few minutes away (helpful bus driver on the way back let us know when to get off / brief directions as we'd taken a different number bus back). Nice breakfast / restaurant area with lots of space. Various walking options (through nice areas / forest). After our walk we sat outside the hotel (comfortable chairs / sun umbrellas) and enjoyed a light lunch.

Reasonable option, but don't expect anything fancy

Nice, quiet area, surrounded by forest. Good size rooms, friendly staff, and very clean.

Little boring, dated design, lack of attention to the details (i.e. tv cord too short, we had to move the tv to plug in). Advertised as in Bonn, but it is way outside, approx. 12-15 minutes from city centre. Sunday breakfast ended very early (at 9:30) and around 9:15 most items were already running low or out.

The breakfast was awesome, all that you would expect. The items were kept fresh. There was distancing between tables and everybody wore masks. The wifi was good and properly installed that it gave good coverage.

Alles in Allem ganz in Ordnung.

Lage am Waldrand ist ideal für Wanderausflüge und Joggingrunden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß in 10 Minuten erreichbar. Sehr ruhig und kein Straßenlärm. Frühstück sehr umfangreich. Es war für alle etwas dabei, auch für Leute die kohlenhydratarm, bzw. kohlenhydratfrei essen wollen. Viel Rohkost war super. Räucherlachs, Haferflocken ohne Zusätze und Biojoghurt würden das Frühstück noch ergänzen. Personal war immer sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.

Bad war sehr klein mit wenig Ablageflächen. Zum Teil waren die Fliesen beschädigt. Der Heizkörper war ziemlich eingestaubt, so dass man wenig Lust hatte, die Handtücher dort aufzuhängen. Das Fitness-Studio im Keller hatte nur ein Ergometer mit defektem Sattel und der Stepper müsste auch wieder mal gewartet werden (laute Quietschgeräusche bei Benutzung). Es lagen auch defekte Hanteln im Raum. Wenn man ein Fitnessraum anbietet, sollte dieser auch gewartet, entsprechend gepflegt und auch besser ausgestattet werden!

Wir haben eine ruhige Nacht in einer waldnahen Umgebung verbracht. Alles war da, was wir benötigten. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiteten, sind professionell und trotzdem herzlich zugewandt. Wir werden dort gerne wieder übernachten.

Gute Unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in Bonn

Für unsere Reisen nach Bonn sind wir immer gerne im Wald-Café! Die ruhige und dennoch zentrumsnahe Lage ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Bonn und Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind ruhig und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir waren insgesamt viermal zu Gast im Wald-Café. Das Frühstück hat in diesem Zeitraum ein wenig nachgelassen.

Gemütliches Hotel, dass sich gerne optisch noch mehr verbessern darf.

-Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam. Beim Frühstück hat ebenfalls nichts gefehlt. -Die Bäder sind modern renoviert und sehr ansehnlich. Unser Doppelzimmer war genügend groß und komfortabel.

-Die Zimmer Ausstattung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen und passt so gar nicht zu den renovierten Ecken des Hotels. Besonders die Kleiderschränke. -Das wilde Stuhlkonzept in den Speisesälen.

Wir waren ziemlich zufrieden

Lage ist sehr schön, direkt am Waldweg und ruhig. Frühstücksangebot theoretisch gut. Sehr gute Busanbindung, 3 Haltestellen recht nah!

Teilweise waren die Platten beim Frühstück um viertel nach acht schon leer gefegt und wurden nicht zeitnah aufgefüllt.
