We had a wonderful view of Lake Lugano with a balcony with chairs and table but paid many Swiss francs for same. We expected a more posh experience, considering all.
Staff was mostly pleasant and helpful, particularly at Reception, but one server at breakfast was rude for no reason. We think that he was a poor representative for the hotel since we made no special requests at all, just coffee. Ridiculous behavior when we paid $US 500/night for a panoramic view of Lake Lugano and what we would expect as polite service. Sad.
We paid for parking, and it was very convenient. We thought the public rooms on the first floor and the garden on the second floor welcoming and pleasant.
We would not return.
The hotel did not meet our expectations.

Excellent breakfast. Best location. Very easy underground parking just beside the hotel. Clean room with beautiful decoration. Comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was great. Bed was pretty comfortable and shower was nice.
Got placed in the room closest to the Lobby Bar which wasn't ideal for someone trying to get a good night's sleep. Noisy until 11p-Midnight.
