What was important for me was the location to the train station. Close to the river walk from Westhafen Tower to the Iron Bridge but as I worked my way over the the big Irish Pub, it was like a freak show with the drunks/druggies/crazies. I had a day trip to Rothenburg scheduled so the pick up for that was right across the street at the FlixBus station. It is said to have air con but it was very poor and Germany was having a heat wave. A fan would have been better. Nothing special about the single room with bath I occupied but it was ok for the time I was there.
The air con is so weak and could not be set higher. A fan would have been helpful.

The hotel is near the train station. The rooms are spacious and have free coffee and tea. Bathroom is clean and spacious.
The room itself had a weird smell and the air conditioning looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. I found two dark hairs on one of the pillows of the bed. The staff seemed overwhelmed with many last-minute guests arriving that day. I arrived late and walking to the hotel from the train station as a woman I felt uncomfortable although it is only a short walk due to the area the hotel is located at.
