Disappointing

The receptionist (a young male) was friendly and helpful.

Possibly a ground floor room catering for disabled persons, but the bathroom gave little privacy with just an expanding plastic shutter - plus one of the double sink bowls was cracked and unusable. The reception explained that next year (early 2024) the hotel was due for refurbishment. (much needed)

Location was spot on as we explored the city and U boat pens. Good parking for our car.

Posted photos were deceptive. Was not as comfortable as photos suggested. For a triple share, it was very tight and the third bed was a foldout bed.

Basic comfort, value for money.

The hotel is functional, it has the basic comfort. There are several affordable restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood. It is well ocated in an industrial neighbourhood, ideal for business travellers.

To reach the rooms one needs to use outside staircases, very uncomfortable if one carries 30 kg+ luggage. The parking lot is constantly full of voluminous vehicles (trucks, wharf engines) parked randomly. The hotel seems to attract the kind of guests who have the habit of collectively making a lot of noise outside until late at night. Breakfast is VERY elementary.

Location is near some restaurants

Even I was asking to the reception to change the linens two times nobody did it. Same holed sheets for entire period. The towels changed twice in 5 days.

helpful staff - the lady at breakfast offered to provide hot milk when the drinks machine wasn’t working properly

a little too basic but not that cheap. air con had a note saying out of order. toilet and shower very tiny. not much choice for breakfast.

Good stay for a night

Basic and clean room, with the minimum necessary to spend a night (double bed, a desk, a TV, a chair and a mini bathroom with shower, sink and wc). Clean sheets and towel. Given the price of 35 euros and the total amount of time spent in the room, I can't complain.

Very small room, almost claustrophobic, with a small window (it was impossible to have natural light and turning on lights was compulsory). Bed with hard mattress.

Everything must urgently be renovated. Lights are inexistent, room was dirty.. I knew for that price you can’t expect much, but clean rooms and functional little tools are essential. Look at what they do in motels in Japan and America, for God’s sake.

Odeur de cigarette dans la chambre , une seul prise de courant disponible dans la chambres Une prise de courant n’est pas suffisant de nos jours!! Même pas de chauffage, douche trop petite et vétuste Les équipements en général sont trop vieux .

La facilité de réservation.

Les bruits environnant. Les bruits de fond. La vmc de la salle de bain doit avoir une pale abîmer. Chambre 209 Voisin dans les chambres à côté . Son réveil sonne 20min avant moi. Lol Ducoup je suis levé aussi. Heureusement qu'il prend pas à 4h. Je suis pas très sensible au bruit heureusement. Qualité/ correct Réservation simple et rapide. Bon point Je reviendrai pour de courtes durée.

Chambre puante du tabac froid a donner la nausée propreté laisse a désirer 2 nuits avec la sensation d'être constamment brûlée a l'eau chaude mais les draps propres et oreillers couverture propres

L'odeur du tabac froid et brûlures d'eau chaude en permanence aussi les coups donnés au mur toutes le 2 nuits. .. Horrible

l’accueil : la personne était vraiment aimable : cela fait plaisir et rassure quand on arrive très fatigué. Petit-déjeuner parfait en rapport avec le prix (il y a toujours mieux, mais c’est + cher).

la propreté des toilettes carrément à revoir ! (le personnel de nettoyage avait utilisé les toilettes pour leurs besoins naturels sans nettoyer). Nous nous sommes posé des questions sur le lits et le sol… mais c’était propre. les escaliers extérieurs sont remplis de toiles d’araignées et les peintures à refaire
