It was quaint.

It was TINY. Barely enough room to squeeze between the foot of the bed and the wall.

View was impeccable, room was clean, it was extremely hot outside so the air con worked a dream, overall a perfect stay

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The first room I was assigned had a very strong cigarette smoke smell, which was unpleasant. To the hotel’s credit, they promptly moved me to another room where the smoking smell was no longer present. However, the room itself felt extremely small and somewhat claustrophobic. The heavy velvet furnishings, thick curtains, and carpeting seemed to retain odours and made the space feel stuffy rather than fresh. Dust was also noticeable, and moving around the room would often disturb it, which did not give the impression of a well-maintained environment. While I appreciated the staff’s efforts to accommodate my room change, I feel the rooms would greatly benefit from improved ventilation, lighter furnishings, and more thorough cleaning.
