I love the fact that it was very quaint and felt like I was a guest at the friends house. I loved the style of the rooms that I stayed in the staff was fantastic. I love the location.

The staff make this property - Miguel in particular was a real star. He was very kind and always looking to assist. Courtney was also so lovely and very on hand to help with anything! Pool is gorgeous and very clean, with a really nice patio with a table tennis table. Inside is slightly dated but nice, rooms are very big and balconies were a real plus.

The breakfast is basic and quite sparse with no indication of what additional breakfast options can be cooked by the kitchen - this is something that was really missing as we had no idea that there was anything further than eggs until the last day. Communication needed from the kitchen. The lounge room with the bar has an odd chunk out the floor and is filled with what looks like newspapers and crisp packets? Quite bizarre, as I am sure this is a minor thing to fix. The hotel also runs bridge competitions that take over the lounge/bar - not a total issue but would’ve been good to be aware that this would be happening. One thing that stuck out at me was the attitude of the owner towards the staff. When leaving the property, I noted the owner was really shouting and yelling at Miguel and Courtney about bringing things out to a car/sorting the Owner’s dogs out. It was frankly unprofessional and made me feel sorry for the staff to be on the receiving end of that. Slightly unaware that guests see everything ….
