The overall quietness was a highlight. We were able to sleep with the windows open, and it was remarkably quiet outside. Comfortable rooms. Very friendly staff. The starry sky above us was a delight to admire in the evening.

A very small village, so easy to find the hotel. The hotel has a great swimming pool and gardens. The interior had great we lots of original features.
We booked the restaurant, but were informed just before our arrival that the restaurant was closed. We found one local cafe that was open.

The building is very beautiful.
The region is very warm during the summer. The airco was fine in the bedrooms, but not at all elsewhere. Plus, it is incomprehensible how come there's no bar available during the day, particularly for refreshments.
