Nice double bed room in rustic renovated hotel. The hotel is on the top of the hill, you can not reach directly hotel, but hotel offers you privat transfer if needed. The parking is close (300m) and hotel gives you parking discount. The room has everything you need for nice stay. The has pool and offers wellness. There is nice restaurant and bar for drink or fine dining. Hotel offers self-served breakfast with tasty food. The location offers different daily trips (truffle hunting and cooking classes, a lot of wineries and restaurants). Also sea-side trip (Poreč, Opatija, Rovinj, Vrsar) is 1h away by car.

The hotel is based on top of a gorgeous medieval hilltown, so the location is very picturesque. They accommodated our request to set up a separate sofa bed for my son in the living room area.

It is impossible to reach the hotel by car - it took 40 minutes for the hotel car to arrive at the parking place at the bottom of the hill where we parked our car. The hotel cal can pick you up only unti 6pm, so if you need to leave the hotel or return to it after 6pm you will have a hard time because you will need to walk up the entire hill. If you are lucky to find a parking place at the top of the hill, you still have to walk a considerable uphill to get to the hotel. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable, the sheets are very harsh to the touch, and breakfast is basic. You can also hear the neighbours very clearly (no soundproofing) and the airconditioning did not produce cool air, so we had boiling temperature in the room even though the temperature was set to 20 degrees. For all these reasons we left the hotel after only one night, even though we had paid for two. On our departure, we left the keys to the lady at the recpetion, informed her we will be checking out early and she arranged for the hotel car to take us to the parking lot. Two days later, someone else called me from the hotel to ask me to settle my bill (!!) and pay for the parking for 2 nights (!!!). I explained that I had already checked out and there was nothing to pay, and the lady was surprised - apparently they had no record of our check out. Anyway, lovely place to look at but I would not stay there again.
