What a wonderful place in so many ways. A gorgeous remote location which is perfect for a chilled out break to disconnect from the world in the peaceful, exotic rainforest above the Pacific Ocean with two yoga platforms overlooking the rainforest, spa, refreshing turquoise pool and high ceilinged main lodge area. The food was excellent and I am still dreaming of the pineapple and mango smoothies. The Luna team work together seamlessly like a family, always smiling and eager to help with anything I needed. The main lodge is a magnificent open-sided thatched structure with rocking chairs positioned to take in breathtaking views across the treetops to the Pacific. During my stay, I spotted spider and squirrel monkeys, coatis, tayras, brilliant blue morpho butterflies, jewel-like hummingbirds, yellow-breasted toucans, and spectacular scarlet macaws squawking through the canopy. Lana, Luna Lodge's inspiring founder and owner, is so energising and welcoming. Living onsite she offers powerful reiki sessions and readings with an energising crystal bed overlooking the Carate Valley. Lana is passionate guardian of Osa which is now under threat from possible development - www.whitehawkfoundation.org The Spa is amazing, perched high above the rainforest. I highly recommend Tommy for deep-tissue massage, I felt completely rejuvenated afterward. Tommy leads the dawn yoga sessions, beginning with the shruti box before flowing into practice suitable for all levels. Our group ranged from complete beginners to experienced yogis recovering from intensive retreats. Yoga, in this setting, is life affirming. The eagle-eyed guides offer various tours throughout the rainforest and surrounding areas, with extensive knowledge of local wildlife and flora. Corcovado National Park is just a short, flat walk along the beach, though there's plenty to explore right around the lodge. A really magical experience, thank you to everyone at Luna Lodge
The tents are basic but functional, with hot water, power, a small shelf (no hanging space), and a private verandah with two rocking chairs. Most require a climb up the hillside, though staff are always available to help with luggage. Tent A is more accessible but set in the rainforest without valley views. The chalet rooms are apparently more spacious and located near the main lodge, though I'd likely choose a tent again—I barely spent time in it anyway!. Fair warning the howler monkeys sound like a baying wolves and will likely wake you up wherever you are sleeping!

the staff was lovely and professional and the settings were very nice.
the bow from our room was the car park and when I booked it it stated parcial sea and jungle views. our room had no fan so it was uncomfortably hot and the lunch option were none with guest given a plate of food without having an option so for example my husband doesn’t lie couscous and that was part of the lunch. the food was delicious though.
