The bungalow was spacious, comfortable, clean and equipped with everything we needed. It looked out on a lovely garden. It's central location was a great base for easily exploring so many beautiful areas both to the north (eg. Glencoe) and the south (eg. Loch Lomond). We had a great week of hiking and exploring, and highly recommend this accommodation

We had a great stay at Inverherive cottage. The house is lovely and very clean. The garden is massive and enclosed for the dogs which gave me peace of mind. The fire in the house is a great we touch on them cold nights, with wood included which was a bonus. Great location and would definitely go back. I even got a half dozen freshly laid eggs from there hens. Which were absolutely amazing.

Inverherive Cottage is gorgeous and completely outfitted. Rena clearly keeps the place in great condition. This is a valued and cared for property. We had everything we needed, and it was the perfect home base for our adventures. A reasonable distance feom Glencoe, Fort William, and Loch Lomond, along with various other historical and natural places of significance, you couldn't ask for a better location. It's lovely. We highly recommend you stay.

We spent a wonderful few days at Reena's property - it's in a great location between Tyndrum and Crianlarich and close to lots of great hikes. The cottage was warm, comfortable and cosy (the fire was great!) and had everything we needed to cook each evening. Reena was easy to communicate with and the property was exactly as described in the listing. We would love to return!

4 night stay. Exactly as listed. Comfy, cosy and well equipped cottage. Perfect location for us as a base for visiting Glencoe area. Able to obtain all supplies from shops near to cottage and in Killin. Would definitely recommend and would return.

Lovely cottage for our needs. Very clean comfortable surroundings. The log fire made the room perfect and we all enjoyed out time at the cottage. Thanks to Rena for sorting us out with the added annex too. Hope to come back sometime.

Despite the rain we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the outside covered area was extremely handy for drying off dogs, and wet clothes before entering property. Cottage was nice and warm during some chilly weather and the log burner made it very cosy. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Some lovely walks from the nearby village, park up and walk along river or hikes over the mountain. Which ever way you drive, views are spectacular!

The cottage was everything we needed, comfortable, excellent base for touring round, great location, nice and quiet, loads of space and equipped with all mod cons. We had a fabulous stay as a family of 5 with our dogs. It was lovely and comfortable and a great place to come home to after a full day sightseeing. The washer and dryer were a bonus for us with having children that love to explore. Our only down point was we could not walk straight from the cottage but plenty of walks within a 5 minute drive and also plenty of room to run in the garden and run the dogs. We would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderfull stay at this fantastic cottage. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped! A big kitchen with an American fridge (great for G&T) and furnished with quality kitchen needs. Nicely fenced garden for the dog and lots of space, 2 bathrooms. We were warmly welcomed by the owner who was very helpfull.

Excellent location from which to visit the northern Trossach's

The unit is located between Crainlarich and Tyndrum in the northwestern part of Trossach’s Loch Lomond National Park. There were snow-capped mountains all around the home when we visited in November. This is a spacious, private home. There is a large, full kitchen with large kitchen table, and full sized appliances. There is a washer but no dryer (unless the unit is a combo washer/dryer). We did not need to try to use it. The separate living room is very cozy with a very warm wood burning stove and plenty of wood. However, the home is pleasantly heated even without the wood stove. There is a TV but we did not use it. The wifi signal is relatively stong. The master bedroom is nice sized with a private bath and shower. The bed is closer to a queen than a king size. (Note: You often will find that even though units on VRBO list a bed as “king” size, it may really be closer to queen size. I don’t believe that the bed size is listed for this VRBO.) There is a second bedroom that we used as a staging area for our luggage and it was nice not to have to have them in the master bedroom. There is a full 2nd bathroom as well. There is also a very nice, west facing sun room that my wife Deborah quite enjoyed as a place to do some painting. There is plenty of room for off street, outside parking. As in most VRBO’s, there are instructions on how to use the various appliances. However, as a general rule, I would always recommend that you also make sure to ask the host how to set the heat, how to use the stove and, if they have them, how to use the washer/dryer when you first arrive. As another general rule, not just here in Scotland, but whenever you are using VRBO, I highly recommend that when arriving, you either have a working phone so you can call your host on their cell to meet you with the key when you arrive, or arrange a definite time beforehand when they can meet you. We struggled with our phone on a few occasions and it was an unnecessary hassle. Up until our final stay in Edinburgh during our holiday, this had been the best of the eight different places in which we had stayed. It was very pleasant.

Great time exploring the nearby hills and Munros, of which there are many. Good access direct onto onto the A82 but not so near it is a disturbance, facilities at Crianlarich and Tyndrum in easy reach. Enclosed garden ideal for children or dog. Very spacious for four people and good wifi (I had no phone signal). If you are feeling adventurous Ben Challum can be climbed direct from the cottage.

Wij verbleven met 3 volwassenen in dit geweldig, goed ingericht en onderhouden vakantiehuis. Alles was zoals we het verwachtte. Het contact met de eigenaar was prima. De ligging is erg centraal, er kunnen uitstapjes gemaakt worden naar alle richtingen: bezoek Oban aan de westkust, wandelen in Trossachs National Park, een vaartocht op Loch Lomond en de schitterende route via A82 naar Glencoe. Crianlarich is een dorpje met een kleine supermarkt, Londis, maar alles wat je nodig hebt, kun je er vinden. De fish and chips in The Tyndrum Inn is van harte aan te bevelen.
