Daeli Apartment

Klidná lokalita, příjemný a ochotný personál. Líbilo se mi soukromí a vlastní vchod. V pokoji vedle nás zrovna nikdo nebyl, tudíž jsme měli balkon s výhledem na moře jen pro sebe. Dobře vybavená kuchyň s lednicí, což je důležité. Snídaně dobrá a dostačující.

There are two en-suites rooms next to each other, with a shared balcony and kitchen. We were alone on the floor at this time. The rooms are clean and tidy. Rooms are clean daily except Sundays. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is ok. Property is behind some resorts (Kendwa Rocks), and entry is through a village street market. The Beach can also be entered via Kendwa Rocks for a fee. Other options to the beach is via the village street, few minutes walk. Felt safe walking. There is also wifi available.

Breakfast needs some improvements. Staff give their best but be prepared to receive the same breakfast everyday with a change of fruit. Omelette with 2 fruits, toast, fresh juice & coffee/tee. Last day we were treated with a chapati instead of toast. Property is like a B&B, no other activities or entertainment. It is ok if you just want to sleep & explore, as there is nothing else to do when it rains. We spend most of our time sitting at Kendwa Rocks or other beach front resorts either having dinner or something to drink.

We felt right at home at Daeli Apartment, thanks to Eliana, our warm and attentive host. She went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The apartment itself is simple but spacious, and the small kitchen is handy if you’d like to prepare light meals. Since we booked two rooms, we had the entire unit to ourselves. If you book only one room, keep in mind that the kitchen and balcony are shared with the other room. Note that most rooms are only accessible by stairs. The Wi-Fi is weak, so working remotely could be a challenge. The beach is about a 10–15 minute downhill walk, lined with noisy resorts. Sometimes the noise carries up to the rooms, but the upside is that the apartment feels calmer and more authentic than staying in a big hotel.
