The host, Mehdi, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We arranged in advance for dinner and had a lovely home cooked meal when we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and was served on their scenic rooftop. We really enjoyed staying in a quiet part of Morocco and having an authentic experience. This was a perfect stop between Merzouga and Marrakech, allowing side trips to Todra Gorge and the Monkey Fingers.

Excellent location. Guest house was nicely decorated and there were lots of places to explore. Medhi (the owner) was lovely! He was really friendly and happy to provide tips for seeing Morocco. The rooms are spacious.
This place has amazing reviews but I think we might have been unlucky as we didn't get to experience what everyone else seems to mention, perhaps as Medhi wasn't there initially. We found the dinner overpriced (150MAD) - there was no menu we just ordered over the phone and one of our orders was wrong. They advised dinner would be at 8pm but we weren't served until 08.30pm. Medhi was very apologetic about this. He offered us free breakfast which was a lovely gesture but seeing as we don't eat breakfast, we asked for a mint tea after dinner instead. There was no mint in the tea and the next day, they asked us to pay for it. There was a mild smell in both bathrooms but easily fixed by closing the bathroom door.
