Holiday House Rastoke Pod Lipom

Staying right in the heart of the beautiful Rastoke waterfall village offers exclusive access to breathtaking, fairy-tale scenery, with the major convenience of being able to park your car right in front of the house. Throughout the entire stay, the crisp and soothing sound of the waterfalls provides a unique, healing background noise, creating a truly special experience of being fully immersed in nature.

However, because it is a traditional wooden house, the indoor facilities and furniture are somewhat outdated and rustic compared to modern hotels, and a major drawback is that the hot water cuts out far too quickly in the middle of taking a shower. Additionally, while the main host is responsive online, his mother-in-law, who acts as the actual on-site manager and hands over the keys, does not speak English at all, making direct communication difficult. The location right above the waterfalls also makes the interior quite humid and very cold at night and early in the morning, and its proximity to nature means that ants and leggy house centipedes (grima) make frequent appearances inside.

Quiet location in Rastoke. Very clean & quaint house. RIGHT on a waterfall! Unbelievable!

Beds were quite firm and hard on my personal back. Friend didn’t have a problem.

El entorno es muy bonito, la casa está situada encima de una cascada pequeña lo que la hace diferente pero a cambio tiene mucha humedad. La casa por dentro no es bonita, precio demasiado elevado para lo que es.

La persona que nos dio las llaves sólo hablaba en croata y no nos entendíamos ni siquiera poniendo el traductor en el teléfono. No paraba de hablar en un tono elevado a pesar de decirle que no entendíamos nada, lo que generó una situación un poco desagradable para nosotros, que no tendría porqué haberse dado.
