I loved my little room with a kitchenette and private bathroom. I don't think I'd do one of the rooms with a shared bathroom. It was nothing fancy, but everything I needed. The location is great if you want some peace and a view of the sea from your balcony. Plus, there are a few great spots to walk to, and I felt super safe.
The wifi was very shotty.

My family and I(4 people total) arrived on Friday 18th 2025 afternoon to Corn Island with no hotel reservation. I found Alal Suites on bookings and inmediately could book one triple room available and could call Mrs. Arlen Hodgson, the landlord. Mrs. Hodgson was extremely kind with us and even gave us a ride on her personal car from the port to the hotel, as we did not know the place at all. The place is really nice, you are practically in front of the beach and the weather is really fresh as there is a lot fresh wind in the zone. The island is about 12km long, so the location is not far from other places in the island. I did a walk in the morning and felt a real caribbean environment!Really loved it!. I highly recommend this place to stay. Mrs. Hodgson's hostel feels very familiar and she is very kind. The price is competitive compared to other prices in bookings.com . They have a very Clean space. No luxury, but a nice place to rest after your adventures in the island, which to me was more than enough. I extended my stay to one more day As I wanted to enjoy the island a little bit more.
