NiHao Café Hotel

Staff was amazing and so helpful. All of them! Also served decent coffee. Location was amazing and their laundry pay per bag was so handy with children. They also changed the sheets as often as you need and changed the towels. Felt very very clean. They also tidied up the place every day if you wanted and we left crumbs every day!!

Room is tiny but good value for money. Family of 4 it was very squishy even though it did have the bathroom and toilet so it was convenient enough.

Pretty expensive Location is a bit far from the center of the town But there is a subway station really close to the hotel so it was fine

Great location close to metro Da’an station, nice cafe, snacks and tea in the common “mini bar” area, friendly reception staff. We arrived at the hotel several hours before the check-in time so they let us store our luggage. When we checked in later, we were happy to hear that they had already placed our bags in the room.

I am sorry to say that: The room had not been properly swept. There were strands of hair on the floor in several places. There was water left in the kettle from a previous guest. (Not really an issue as hot water is available in the mini bar area but goes to show the lack of attention to detail in housekeeping.) A small unidentifiable remnant was stuck to one of the bath towels. We had actually stayed here 6 years ago and had been extremely satisfied with the entire stay and decided to come back. This time we were deeply disappointed that the standards for cleanliness had declined. As previous reviews had not mentioned this as a problem, perhaps our experience was an unfortunate exception. But since cleanliness is one of the factors on which travelers evaluate hotels, I felt that it was appropriate to address this concern.
