Perfect location right on the beach with wonderful views and 3 minutes walk from the train and bus stations so very easy to get to. The beach itself is gorgeous - long stretch of sand, beautiful and quiet.
The room was clean and comfortable with AC and a fridge, and you can not only see the sea but you can hear the waves in bed at night!
There are shops and restaurants nearby which I didn’t explore as the food at Beach House was great - delicious home cooking. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The owner introduced me to a lovely local tuk tuk driver (Kushan) who took me to all the local sights one day - kayaking on Koggala Lake, visiting the museum and tea plantation etc.

Super breakfast by Sadun the energetic person. Amazing Sadun and his three member team were excellent
On the last night the Security night watchman didn’t turn up and we were not only guests but also security operatives! As a result we’re we’re unable to gain access to cutlery plates and other basic things. Owner sounded very nice in the phone unfortunately he was away.
