Iliovasilema VILLAGE

We only stayed one night but everything was smooth and easy and our host still went above and beyond to accommodate our needs - they offered an early check-in, they made shower and toilet available between check-out and our ferry when we left, and they drove us to the port (whis is a short walk anyway, but it was still very convenient as we didn't have to carry our luggage along the beach). The property is in a very convenient location with a great view (as the name suggests if you understand Greek!). Their restaurant is also one of the best on the island, and we had an excellent meal with fresh fish for a very reasonable price.

Nothing really,

Christos (manager) met us and others when the ferry arrived, minibus to the rooms. We had one of the older rooms (with superb views) that had been done up (new shower and bed) since a previous visit. Some rooms do have better views than others - rooms with Greek letters (alpha, beta, gamma etc.) are excellent, third time staying here. The restaurant on site is fine - good trad Greek food and good service and view. Most of the village is a short walk across the beach. Minibus to the ferry also when we left, some people walked across the beach to the harbour and bags went with the bus

nothing signficant!

We loved our stay, the room was excellent. Really comfy bed and exceptionally clean. Well equipped, we had everything that you could possibly want. Lovely shower and bathroom. Private, quiet in a excellent location. The taverna was very close and the quality of the food was incredible. Just the best few days in Donousa.

Having to leave 🥲

This is our second stay at Iliovasilema and we loved it again. Last time we stayed for 3 nights, this time we stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the relaxed and easy environment again. Only a short walk to the port beach and shops and a 15 minute walk to Kedros beach The onsite traditional restaurant is superb and again they cooked the fish my partner had cooked. The studio was comfortable with amazing views and a well equipped kitchenette and we will return next year.
