Вілла віддалена від моря. Для нас це не було проблемою, але цей варіант не підійде для людей похилого віку та для тих, хто має маленьких дітей. Якщо ви хочете мати гарне місце на пляжі, ви мусите вийти раніше.

Excellent place to stay! The price-to-quality ratio is outstanding. The house is located in a quiet area, away from the crowds, yet it’s only about a 10-minute walk to Punta Rata Beach (around 15 minutes on the way back because of the uphill climb). The hill feels challenging only during the first couple of days—you quickly get used to it. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the hosts are happy to change the bed linen upon request. The terrace deserves a special mention. It was our favorite place for breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening. The barbecue and grill are also excellent if you enjoy cooking outdoors. There are two grocery stores within walking distance: one about 10 minutes uphill from the house and another one on the way toward the beach.

The only minor thing worth mentioning is that the bedroom with the double bed can get a bit warm, as the air conditioner is located in the living room. It’s also difficult to create a cross breeze in that bedroom. That said, this is very much a matter of personal preference—I personally prefer sleeping in a cooler room. It certainly didn’t affect our overall experience, which was excellent.

Very nice house with the perfect sunsets from the terrace. The house is convenient for 5 people, for sure. Nearby, like 5 minutes away, is a very good restaurant (uphill) with Mediterranean cuisine. We were travelling by car, so it was easier to reach different locations- it’s very close to Makarska city centre. Also, it is not so far from Punta Rata beach (15- 20 min on foot down the hill). Still, the way home is very challenging, unless you like to climb the mountain 😅 For kids it can be very difficult, for people with some health issues, especially when it’s very hot, I would say almost impossible. The way back from the beach took us approximately 25-30 min uphill and upstairs. It’s way easier by car, but the parking by the beach is expensive
