Exceptional location and views

Exceptional location and view! Steps away from the Pile Gate and has a view of the fort. And the woman who runs the place was incredibly friendly.

Bathroom is very small and has a weird odor.

Location location location

The location was awesome right next to pile gate. Make sure you go down the alley as it takes you to the water. Love the terrace to sit on in the afternoon to watch the activity below after you have had enough of the crowds. You are in someone's house so respect is essential.

Nothing really but if I was to be picky, the beds is very noisy and pillows are hard but for 3 days it isnt a problem. Dubrovnik is very expensive.

Amazing location, lovely owners :)

Was right outside of the old town near Pile gate, such an amazing location, no need to walk through the old town with suitcases/bags and easy to find, the owner was lovely and welcoming, did not even realise they were there, amazing traditional home.

The room is on the 3rd floor with only stairs which would be difficult if carrying a heavy bag or for elderly after a long day walking in the heat, the floorboards in room were very noisy whenever you moved in bed it would move the floorboards and would wake us up.

Cozy stay close to old town for unbeatable price.

This place was super cute and cozy. We really enjoyed that the bed was two twins pushed together with two separate blankets. For the price, this place was a hidden gem! You’re two minutes from old town so you get the perks of being close without the noise!

Would 100% recommend!

The property was right outside of the old town near Pile gate, such a perfect location without having to walk through the actual old town with big suitcases. The owner was lovely and waited around for me until midnight to check in after my flight was delayed. The aircon was great especially during Croatian summer

The property itself is 3 stories and does not have an elevator which was a bit difficult to navigate with a 30kg suitcase as a solo female traveller (just something to keep in mind)

A beautiful stay right around the corner from the old town. Super spacious room decorated in a warm, traditional style that made you feel like you were staying in the hosts home. made welcome straightaway. clean, everything worked well and comfortable beds. no complaints at all and would easily stay again. highly recommended!

The best place to visit Dubrovnik !!

I highly recommend this place. The host is so nice and welcoming. She was helpful and gave us all we wanted. The accommodation is quiet, with AC and the best part of it is its location. Literally at 1 min walking from the old town. I will come back

Homey in Dubrovnik

Now that I have returned home I understand that I was right to book a property outside Dubrovnik's old town (yet right next to it). My room was on the third floor in an old private house. Although simply furnished, it has everything a traveler may need: a small fridge, a kettle, tableware. The hostess, a lovely soft-spoken English-speaking lady, was very welcoming.

The bathroom was somewhat cramped.

Séjour à Dubrovnik

This is the best stay we had during all our Croatian journey. We appreciated the confort of the 2 bedrooms and to take the breakfast on the terrasse with a beautiful view on the city. The host welcome us as a Family guest in her house and make our visit really pleasant. The location is just perfect and the prices really interesting. In summary do not miss the rooms pile.

This place had everything we needed for a reasonable price.

Incredible location: Pile Gate, lovely little beach, 24h bakery, minimarkets, buses, restaurants.. everything at your doorstep:)! Simple room but very clean, with a water kettle, cutlery & fridge, modern bathroom - everything you need. Very helpful & friendly lady of the house.

Airport shuttle does not stop at Pile Gate any more, but the walking distance from the new stop, Ploce Gate, through the Old Town, was surprisingly short and smooth even though we had luggage with us.

Perfecto para unos días con una ubicación ideal

La excelente ubicación, la casa está al lado de la puerta de Pile, en todo el casco antiguo. La dueña de la casa muy amable, todo muy limpio y apañado para una estancia corta. La mujer nos dejó te, termo de agua caliente y toallas para la playa. Un detalle perfecto.

Lo malo es que fuimos con coche, no hay parking cerca, para dejar y coger las maletas fue una odisea, porque no pueden pasar los coches por el casco antiguo y bueno... un horror ese aspecto.

Bon plan en été a Dubrovnik

L'emplacement est parfait, juste a la sortie de la vieille ville. L'accueil était très agréable. Nous avons eu la chambre au 2eme étage, hyper calme et confortable avec une belle vue sur le fort.
