Close to the bus station and to the town heading to puente nuevo! Walkable. Breakfast: bread, yogurt, cheese and tomatoes with bacon. Coffee or cacao and juice! Reception is not 24/7 it is open until 00. There’s a lift!

Simple but good breakfast, nicely sized room, more than enough for a sleep and shower with plenty of towels, gel and shampoo and a good hairdryer. Our room was in the courtyard, so no street noise. Very central location, so free parking on the street in this part of Ronda is not easy, but "seek ... and ye shall find," or you can pay, but it's not that cheap. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

What could better would be: a few drawers in the wardrobe and some more and better clothes hangers.

Breakfast choices

The Hotel Dona Carmen is ideally situated in the centre of Ronda. Parking is very limited so best to use the municipal car park 10 mins walk away although you can unload bags outside the property. Inside the property gives the impression of being tired. It’s isn’t a warming welcome but friendly all the same. Rooms are, basic and in need of updating but clean. If you’re booking for the free breakfast, I’d recommend giving the transport style cafeteria a miss and visit one of the nearby panaderias that are so much better. Overall, you get what you pay for, if you need a bed for the night, you’ll get it!
