Very thoughtful staff and an imaginative compound design - we loved the tree house.
The owner arranged a safari with an excellent guide - we highly reckoned him: speaks very good English, committed, history of involvement in wildlife. Loads of elephants and crocodiles. We saw a leopard - the first he’d seen in six months.

It was clean and comfy. Host were nice, food very good (especially the curry). Perfect for going to the Udawalawa safari

Great location near the park. Spacious room. Easy to keep bugs out of the room. AC working and cold water available. I could let my stuff in the room during the safari, helpfull staff
I didn't use their safari tour so I don't know about that. I didn't use restaurant and pool so can't evaluate that

The hosts were very friendly, the food was very generous and enjoyable.
after a very stressful travel to the place because of the current situation in Sri Lanka we were well looked after and appreciated that we could have a nice bottle of wine.
The Hosts also arranged for our Safari and elephant orphanage viewing which was very close and very good, and then also arranged for our 2 hour safe taxi return to our original hotel that we were staying at.
I loved seeing the monkey pop his head over the roof to say hello.
Nothing to complain about.
