We enjoyed everything about our stay at the chalet. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, Lake Gosau is just up the road, there is a restaurant about 5 minutes from the house and Hallstatt is not far either. The house is beautiful and light and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back!

The location of the Chalet is really amazing, the view on the mountain is breathtaking and you can enjoy it on the very large terrace/balcony. The place is well equipped (kitchen, 2 bathrooms, towels). The area is super calm and you can park 2 cars there. There is one large bedroom with is great. The second one is in the attic and when the weather is hot it is quite hot as well in there. The check-in was very smooth, we got the key from the outside key box. You have a small supermarket just 5 min drive and the small lake is just 1h away hike or 5 min by car. There are also plenty of equipments for babies and kids.

There are not so many negative point except 1 big one, it is advertised as a 3 bedrooms place and in reality the 3rd bedroom is a closet with a bed (literally a double bed mattress in a closet), it could maybe be fun for kids but definitely not adults, it should be advertised accordingly. The 3rd couple had to sleep on the sofa bed.

The house is a wonderful 3 storey building with an unobstructed view of the mountains and a really big and very nice terrace. It has two very clean and well-equipped bathrooms and a great functioning kitchen. The hosts were very helpful with everything and the check in and check out completely hassle-free. The location is fantastic! You are very close to the magnificent Gosau lake with tons of activities around. Totally recommended for a group of friends - the house can sleep up to 7-8 people if you squeeze a bit.

As it was unclear for us, here is a CLEAR description of the house: There is nothing on the ground floor (just the entrance). The first floor has a kitchen and dining room, a very spacious living room with a huge terrace and a small bathroom. The living room has a typical couch that turns into a bed. The second floor has a big master bedroom (with a small single bed inside as well), a huge bathroom (shower and bathtub) and a small double bed in a hole in the wall (like a small cabin bed) separated by a curtain which can sleep 2 people but has limited privacy. The third floor is under the roof, you climb with a slightly steep staircase but has a spacious room with 2 mattresses on the floor (due to height restrictions) which can sleep comfortably 3 people.
