BBarcelona Sagrada Familia Garden Apartment

The location was perfect. We actually had a view of the Sacrada. Three small bedrooms but very adequate. 2 Bathrooms but the door on one of the bathrooms did not work well. Close to taxi stand and restaurants and coffee shops.

There was no wifi. I contacted them and they told me someone would be by to fix it. I contacted them a second time and never received a response. Totally unacceptable. I contacted them about a few other things and never got a response until we had checked out.

Location was very good. Conveniently located across from Segrada Familia and the metro.

Very dated. Needs some TLC. Cracked tiles, dirty walls, no clothes dryer and the clothes line is non functional. No oven, dishwasher leaks and hood fan doesn’t work. For the cost I was expecting a little more size and functionality

Location, clean and bright rooms Great view from main bedroom of Sagrada familliar

No air con in bedrooms No bottled water on arrival

It is a nice, charming appartment with a view to Sagrada Familia. If only they wouldn't ruin the experience with their scammy way of doing business.

When coming to the appartment, we were given to sign a contract that we were not ok with (the agency/host obviously did not have any insurance in case of fire and some other disasters, so we had to take the responsability for). In addition we had to pay 200 eur caution, which will be given back if everything would be ok in the appartment while leaving it. BUT they refused that a member of the staff would come to check the appartment on our way out - they took the liberty to make the check without us, on their own, in 24 hours time after we leave. In the contract we also had to sign that they have 10 days to return the 200 eur caution. We asked while signing the contract and also a few times during those 10 days that when they will unblock our 200 eur, that they send us the proof of it. They never did! So we might be checking our bank account for quite some to oversee if they decide to take from us those 200 eur after all. Scam...
