BBarcelona Sagrada Familia Garden Apartment

Location was very good. Conveniently located across from Segrada Familia and the metro.

Very dated. Needs some TLC. Cracked tiles, dirty walls, no clothes dryer and the clothes line is non functional. No oven, dishwasher leaks and hood fan doesn’t work. For the cost I was expecting a little more size and functionality

La localisation au pied de la Sagrada est vraiment idéale. Nous avions pris une place de parking payante pour la durée du séjour et avons tout fait à pied et en métro. Le logement est confortable avec 3 vraies chambres. Nous avons beaucoup aimé séjourner ici.

La cuisine est très sombre. Il est compliqué d’étendre du linge si vous faites une machine. Il y a de la lumière dans le couloir qui passe à travers la fenêtre de l’entrée (et donc dans la chambre)

It is a nice, charming appartment with a view to Sagrada Familia. If only they wouldn't ruin the experience with their scammy way of doing business.

When coming to the appartment, we were given to sign a contract that we were not ok with (the agency/host obviously did not have any insurance in case of fire and some other disasters, so we had to take the responsability for). In addition we had to pay 200 eur caution, which will be given back if everything would be ok in the appartment while leaving it. BUT they refused that a member of the staff would come to check the appartment on our way out - they took the liberty to make the check without us, on their own, in 24 hours time after we leave. In the contract we also had to sign that they have 10 days to return the 200 eur caution. We asked while signing the contract and also a few times during those 10 days that when they will unblock our 200 eur, that they send us the proof of it. They never did! So we might be checking our bank account for quite some to oversee if they decide to take from us those 200 eur after all. Scam...
