This is very comfortably furnished accommodation in a very old and characterful collection of buildings in a quiet and secluded position at the end of a country lane. We particularly enjoyed the heating provided by the large wood-burning stove. The location is superb, high up in the middle of the Madiran vineyards with beautiful views, especially from the outside eating area where we ate the very tasty breakfast provided. There are excellent walks from the property. The owners, Simon and Paulette, are charming, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. They very kindly drove us to and from a restaurant in the nearby town of Madiran. If the reason for your visit is (as ours was) - or includes - tasting the Madiran wines, make sure to ask their advice as to where to go.
