Dwarika's Sanctuary - A Himalayan Wellness Retreat

The resort is spread out on a hill, with various activity rooms spread across the natural lush landscape. The atmosphere is serene and is ideal for a wellness retreat and you can completely disconnect from the outside world. They have excellent activities, including Yoga, Meditation, sound healing, painting, pottery etc. But most importantly it was the best service i have experienced, they were able to accommodate all my requests and were were warm and helpfull.

As it is spread out on a hill you are often dependant on the the resort cart to take you to places. But it was always readily available so it was not really an issue.

I really love the concept — the way they merge the stay with spiritual activities is truly special. The food was excellent, and all the teachers and gurus were wonderful. They were supportive, generous with their knowledge, and shared everything in a very thoughtful and accessible way. I deeply appreciate everything I learned from them; these teachings will stay with me, and I’ll carry them forward in my life.

I was quite disappointed with how the reception team managed the experience. Upon arrival, I was informed that the chakra chambers were closed — which was actually the main reason I made the booking. The initial conversation was filled with phrases like “no” and “not available,” rather than offering alternatives or solutions. It was only after I expressed my dissatisfaction that they started looking for options, but at this level of service, solutions should be proactively provided, not reactive. This is positioned as a luxury experience, so I expected to receive what was promised in the schedule. I wasn’t asking for anything additional — just what had been advertised. Their response that “no one else has complained” was dismissive and unhelpful. Additionally, I noticed that any time I needed assistance, there were consistent delays. It’s clear the reception staff would benefit from further training in customer service and experience management
