Warm, cosy, beautiful with stunning views of the Alps!

Self Catering accommodation. Beautiful cosy apartment with everything you needed. Host Brigette was lovely. She offered us breakfast for 10 Euros, which we gladly accepted, as this was a one night stopover. It was a short walk into Chambery, steep, but short, where there were restaurants and shops. The views at night and in the morning over the Alps was stunning.

It was quite hard to find the apartment, even when using the Satnav, but once we were on the correct road, we saw the photo instructions, and it was easy from there on in, although again steep roads up to the accommodation, but worth it for the views you then got.

A little bit of heaven on earth

The chalet and its location are really beautiful, with a delightful garden, view of the mountains and a table and chairs for eating outdoors, it felt like paradise, we would like to spend more time here relaxing and enjoying the natural environment and peace Lillian, our host, was most hospitable and kind and it was so good to be welcomed instead of just struggling with keys and remote access instructions..

The track to the chalet needs caution with a heavily laden motorbike, it is steep and gravelly.

A charming apartment

We enjoyed the stay in this lovely little apartment in Chambéry, just a short walk from the city center. The place was beautifully decorated, cozy, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. One of the highlights was the small private yard – a peaceful corner that made the apartment feel even more special. Our host, Liliane, was absolutely wonderful. She welcomed us warmly and went out of her way to make us feel at home. She served us a delicious breakfast, which was the perfect way to start the day. This apartment is a real gem in Chambéry – charming, well-located, and hosted by such a kind lady. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Super location, apartment and host.

Beautiful apartment at the base of the owner, Liliane’s house set in a lovely garden with views of the mountain. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of outdoor furniture to use too. Liliane extremely friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for the area.

it has a very personal atmosphere, it’s colorful and comfortably furnished . It’s outside of Chambery, but really not far to walk and it’s garden is wonderful .

Feel at Home in a Magnificent Setting

This is the ideal set up in my opinion. There is the peace of nature but the town is readily accessible for the various attractions on offer. Hiking routes are also close, though I did not have time to do them and the season was not optimal. The host did an outstanding job, I truly felt at home despite staying only a day and two nights. Breakfast was above and beyond expectation. However, breakfast is only served on the first and last morning. Host offers to pick up guests from the train station if required. The room is very generous and cosy. Kitchen facilities are a huge plus for saving money by not always having to go out. Host offered to do my laundry at no extra charge. The setting in nature does wonders for recharging after the rigours of travel. The property is very interesting as well and the concept behind it is both fascinating and ingenious.

My only issue is potential clarity behind payment as this is not done via the app, I was very preoccupied during my stay and so forgot to pay while I was there. The approach is unconventional and might catch some people off guard (such as me.) I believe the host should handle this shortly after guest arrival somehow, as it causes more stress on both parties in the long run if my situation is repeated. I have a lot going on right now and this has added to personal pressure.

A romantic, warm and cosy place on top of Chambéry

A very nice place, without much noise. It's very well situated (stunning view, parking spot, very close to Chambéry on foot (15 minutes)). Comfortable, cooking stuff available, heating very efficient, the hostess was very kind and helpful, the bed was comfortable, there is a garden right next to the room, breakfast provided the first and last day of the stay. This place is really nice. You can walk to the city centre in 15 minutes ! We would like to thank the owner for being so kind and helpful. She welcomed us warmly and provided us with lots of tips for things to do or see arround. We will definitely come back!! See you soon! J & S

The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but we weren't here for that. The shower is in the middle and thus puts water everywhere when one walks from the main room to the bedroom.

Everything!! Liliane is such a nice host. Bring me from the station when I arrived and take me to the station when I left. The house is more beautiful than the photos! And super comfortable! So warm, quiet and peaceful. The view of the mountains and the smell of nature just make you so relax. The breakfast is homemade and delicious as well. Everything is perfect!!

A different and fun place to stay near Chambéry

A well appointed apartment in a charming rustic setting. Peaceful, comfortable, spacious, spotless. We enjoyed Liliane’s homemade breakfast outside in the pretty garden. Liliane is a warm and welcoming host.

We loved everything. It is worth getting very specific directions from Liliane for the last 2 minutes of the journey to the house, our Sat Nav got confused at that point.

We loved staying in this apartment. It was amazing to have our own space for a long trip away from home. It really felt like a home away from home while we were there! Super neat and clean, and the heater was amazing. We loved breakfast, and we really enjoyed meeting our host Liliane. Le logement est situé sur les hauteurs de Chambéry. La vue sur les montagnes est splendide. Le logement dispose d'extérieurs ,coin terrasse, jardin verdoyant. L'appartement est agencé avec soin et gout. La literie est confortable. Des revues, de la documentation et livre d'histoire sur la Savoie sont à disposition. Liliane a un sens indéniable de l'accueil et a été à l'écoute de nos demandes. Une adresse à recommander. Nous reviendrons volontiers y passer quelques jours pour randonner. Merci. Mention spéciale pour Largo et notre partie de jeu.

Una baita confortevole a Chambéry

Siamo stati in questo appartamento solo una notte, ma ci è stata sufficiente per apprezzare innanzitutto la posizione, nella parte alta di Chambéry, in mezzo ad una vegetazione rigogliosa, con la vista sulle montagne. L'appartamento è piccolo, ma arredato con gusto ed è molto pulito e confortevole, nonostante quel po' di umidità inevitabile in un pianterreno. Liliane, la proprietaria, parla un italiano perfetto, è gentilissima e disponibile: la sera stessa del nostro arrivo ci ha prenotato personalmente il ristorante, dopo avercelo fatto scegliere, e la mattina successiva ci ha portato la colazione, ad un prezzo irrisorio. È stato molto piacevole ed arricchente parlare con lei... l'abbiamo percepita come un appoggio e un'amica, oltre che un'host.

L'appartamento, essendo a pianterreno, è un po' umido.

Azul, verde y magia.

La amabilidad y, en especial, la generosidad de Liliane, la belleza del lugar, los detalles del alojamiento, la paz del entorno, el respeto al medio ambiente de la vivienda, la ubicación (súper cerca del centro, al mismo tiempo que estás en el campo), la climatización de la vivienda, el estupendo detalle del desayuno de Liliane, las vistas. Y, por encima de todo, el trato respetuoso, natural y agradable de Liliane (y de Largo 😉).

No hubo nada que no me gustara. Fue un lugar mágico y una suerte encontrarlo.

Pas mal

Beau cadre, jardin mignon, bien décoré, donne envie de s'y poser. Hôte avenante, aimable et disponible. Notre hôte a su nous guider jusqu'à son logement et heureusement car les GPS (maps/Waze) ne nous emmenaient pas du tout au bon endroit.

Localisation très compliquée : les GPS font n'importe quoi Difficile d'accès avec un véhicule de location qu'on ne connait pas très bien (virages étroits). Énormément de moustiques (on en a tué 14 en une soirée alors que nous avions fermé les fenêtres...), pas la faute de l'hôte du tout, mais tout de même gênant. Logement mal nettoyé, il y avait pune bonne poignée de cheveux sur le coussin du canapé et qui ne correspondent ni à ma couleur de cheveux ni à celle de ma dame. Difficultés pour accéder au coin cuisine en fonction de votre taille. Encore une fois, cela ne vise pas l'hôte qui est au top, mais le logement a plusieurs soucis.

Appartement confortable, cosy et bien agencé. Emplacement très calme en pleine nature, avec un beau point de vue, et doté d'un jardin où il fait bon flâner. Liliane, notre chaleureuse hôtesse, a été aux petits soins pour nous sans jamais s'imposer. Bref une adresse à recommander à 100%.

Liliane is een geweldige gastvrouw en het uitzicht vanuit het terrasje in de tuin is geweldig. Ook het ontbijt was een heel fijne verrassing. Bel daarbij nog de heel lieve huishond Largo en het plaatje is compleet. En top-plekje!

Sehr schön und enpannend.

Sehr ruhige und angenehme Lage. Die Anfahrt war etwas schwierig, weil ich nach Navi gefahren bin. Deshalb einfach ab der D912 den Schildern folgen, dann ist es viel einfacher. Der Freisitz in Garten ist toll! Die Besitzerin, mit der wir uns in Englisch unterhalten konnten, war wirklich sehr nett, und hatte uns sogar ein zwei Bier kaltgestellt. Vielen Dank!

Wer zu Fuß in die Stadt gehen will, der sollte etwas Kondition haben.

Un lieu charmant où il fait bon vivre

Il y a des lieux ou l'on se sent toute suite chez soi. Un environnement et un accueille au top de Liliane. Des petites attentions qui nous permettent de sentir attendu (Bières fraiches et cerises du jardin) Le studio est très confortable, fonctionnel et bien décoré. Une mention spéciale pour le jardin si champêtre et romantique avec une explosion de fleurs au printemps. Une belle adresse à recommander et à conserver pour explorer Chambéry et sa région. On reviendra

Logement fonctionnel et correctement équipé. Un peu sombre mais confortable. La route d'accès est assez sportive (route sinueuse et très pentue). Accueil très chaleureux de l'hôte. Petit déjeuner simple offert.
