Lovely apartments set in a gorgeous spot in Slana

10/10 would like to return one day.

Everything was perfect. The rooms, the location. In the evening there is a lot of going on, music (until 22:00); some kind of festival, shops, local restaurants. Very nice stay.

A great stay

Lovely view from the communal balcony that we had direct access to. You had everything you needed at the apartment and it was clean. Great parking facilities and good location.

Had two nights with very noisy cruise ships just outside our window that played music very loudly until very late keeping us awake. We didn’t mind the other nights when the music was turned off at 10pm, that was just entertaining.

The stunning location, quiet swimming pool reserved for guest usage and staff who worked very hard to make sure our stay was as amazing as it was!

Perfect, relaxing getaway in a beautiful town

We arrived earlier than expected but the apartment was ready for us and the lovely girls on reception handed over the keys straight away. The room was much bigger than expected with a view to die for! The property was lovely and quiet, with a great pool that had lots of sunbeds that could easily be moved in and out of the shade for when it all got a bit too hot. There wasn't any information in the room regarding cleaning or towel changes but when we needed the towels to be changed, the ladies did it straight away so I guess it works on a 'ask and you can have it' basis, which suited us fine. Slano is generally quite a sleepy little town, with a few restaurants all serving pretty much the same food, a large(ish) supermarket and a small supermarket. Don't waste your money buying expensive water as the water in the apartment is perfectly safe to drink. One thing to note - in the week that we were there, there were two nights (Thursday and Sunday) where island cruise ships moored outside the apartment (about 10 of them), with everyone getting off and either jumping on buses (presumably to go to Dubrovnik) or staying in the town. They also brought with them a live music group who set up just outside the apartments, and played loud music until 11pm (generally 80's and 90's music). To be fair to them, they did stop at 11pm but people with young children should be aware that this will happen as it was very loud and there was no chance of sleeping through it, but if you wanted to join in then of course it was there for free. Overall we had a lovely stay and cannot recommend the apartments enough - lovely staff, great value for money and Slano is very beautiful to stay in.

We didn't mind the loud music but it could be an issue for some. The lack of restaurants / choice of meals was a bit restrictive, and after a week we had eaten at most of them twice. The supermarkets were expensive but I guess if you go to Croatia you shouldn't be surprised at this, as in general the cost of living is quite high.

Beautiful place to come back again and again

Just a beautiful place in the small town of Slano. The apartment has everything that might be needed in everyday life. Fully equipped kitchen corner, a bathroom with shower, bathtub and washing machine. A wonderful terrace the access to which we had directly from our apartment number 8. There are lots of good things to say about this place. And it is definitely worth it to come back again!

I can't say that I really didn't like the following things but they didn't bother me. You just have to know that it is true from other comments that the water temperature in the bathroom is not stable. And during our 5 night stay there were two concerts in the square right in front of the Vila they ended around 11pm. The pillows were not too comfy

Great apartment in a beautiful town

Everything!😁 Slano is a lovely, peaceful small town and Vila Riva is positioned right on the front overlooking the Adriatic sea. The apartment was perfect for us and the gardens/swimming pool was an added bonus. A 40minute, 3.5euro bus trip into Dubrovnik made Slano a great decision to be away from the very busy City.

A great break away from busy towns and cities.

Centrally located amongst stunning scenery. Very clean and well equipped. Slano residents very friendly.

An exceptional location bringing our Balkan tour to a close.

The entire property from the moment we arrived just had a look of professionalism about it. From the gardens to the entrance hall, to our apartment, everything was spotlessly clean, tidy and exceptionally well presented. Staff were very polite, spoke fantastic English and were very eager to help in whatever way was needed. The apartment was extremely well equipped including a washing machine, iron , clothes dryer, dishwasher and microwave. Secure car parking is provided at the rear of the property via automatic gates. The location is perfect for the town centre with a small harbour side bar, bakery, 2 very nice restaurants and a small convenience store all within a 5 minute walk. There are also an abundance of ATM machines within the same area. At the time of year we were there (mid October) it was pleasantly quite but I would imagine during the peak months of May to September it would be much busier and more congested in the area.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about the property itself, WI-FI was a little temperamental, difficult to get a signal at times. What may be worth considering for future bookings is that immediately next door the same company are planning to erect a new build property of the same high quality, so for some months there will be noise and inconvenience of a building site. I do not know a start date for this building work.

Apartment was in a lovely building. It was spacious and had everything you needed. Beautiful views out to the bay. Lovely pool and garden area behind with backdrop of the countryside.

We had a sea room where you heard early noise from the road and moored vessels. Nothing the accommodation can do about this but something to be aware of.

It was very clean, no noise. The room had a large comfortable bed. We also used the kitchen in the room. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking. There were good shutters on the windows, which saved us from the bright light in the morning. A small port is located opposite Apartments Villa Riva. The beaches are located a few minutes from Apartments Villa Riva.

Super comfy and clean apartments

Aparthotel in renovated old building just in the center of Slano. Big, clean and comfortable rooms/apartments, very well equipped with all needed facilities (fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine). Big bathroom with both shower and bath. Super comfy bed. We asked for cot and baby chair and it was waiting for us in the apartment. We had room on the first floor so no balcony but there are 2 big terraces on the first floor with excellent sea and swimming pool view. Private parking lot at the back of the building. Excellent swimming pool area equipped with sun beds and umbrellas - during our stay it was mostly empty. Short walk to several restaurants. Easy self check-in so no issue with arriving late. Our opinion is that in reality both apartments and building itself is higher standard than it looks on the pictures.

Nothing to improve in the apartment itself. If you are a light sleeper and you get a room with the window on the street it might be a little bit noisy....on the other hand street view also means sea view so when you finally wake up you have a stunning view over bay.

Kiva majoitus uima-altaalla ja keskeisellä sijainnilla, valitettavasti kuitenkin meluisa.

Uima-allas ja parkkipaikka olivat plussaa. Sijanti hyvä. Siisti huone ja majoituspaikka muutenkin.

Hyvän sijainnin vuoksi, kuului kadulta kauheasti meteliä. Satamassa oli laivoja iltaisin, sekä joku esiintyjäkin. Sänky oli rungon vuoksi liian pieni, pitkällä ihmisellä jalat osuu sängynpäätyyn ja pitää nukkua kulmittain. Ilmastointilaitteesta myöskin kuului kauhea meteli, vaikka laite oli pienmmällä. Nämä kaikki vaikutti, että melko huonosti tuli nukuttua.
