Villa Yiannis (Adult Friendly)

I chose this villa because the price was very attractive, but I came here with really low expectations as the room pictures don’t really suggest a beautiful but rather modest accommodation. Then we arrived: an incredibly beautiful garden, very well maintained. Here we met our warm and kind host, who works all the time like a busy bee. She took us to our room: a very beautiful room, all modern nothing like the pictures, very meticulously cleaned, and with a stunning view! Everything was perfect, really! The bus stop is right at the street and buses come every 5 minutes, making it easy to visit all beaches that you want! 3 supermarkets are also nearby. Skiathos town is 15 min walking distance, and airport is easily accessible by bus or by taxi (took us 18€ and could pay by card). As for the location it is indeed on a steep hill, but so is the whole island. So honest advice, if 4 minutes ascent is too much for you, better choose another destination not Skiathos!

Insects net at the windows would be nice

Abbiamo soggiornato in una bellissima camera , ampia, con piccolo patio privato vista mare. La villa é situata in un giardino curatissimo e la signora Urania che gestisce la struttura é stata molto ge tile e amichevole .Pulizia giornaliera e cambio lenzuola/ asciugamani ogni 2 giorni. Splendida vacanza in quest'isola meravigliosa.

very clean (fantastically clean), simple but decent, location (good mix between being close to the city but not in the crowd). owner was very helpful! we also really liked that there was a safe and the place felt safe.

Sound and noise; There is literally no sound proofing whatsoever. we were lucky with our “neighbours”, but you can hear everything. also there is a very very VERY annoying dog (not the owners) that woke us up every morning at 7 or even earlier. not optimal on a holiday. one night there was some device starting which gave vibrations in the walls so we couldn’t fall sleep - it sounded like we were in a large ferry (a very low and annoying frequency). luckily this stopped after some hours (we suspect this was maybe an air conditioner giving off vibrations through the walls).
